You know, it really gets you thinking when you practice poetry for a speech and debate tournament. Especially when your piece is about societal injustice.
And here I go on my rant again.
Why do we place so much value in our society about being "pretty?" There's a hell lot better things you can be and I'm for certain it's more than just "pretty." Your looks don't mean everything, shame on those that taught you that.
And this is why we have people always so insecure about themselves. Stop being so superficial, society. Please.
