He what? Coby is in love with Yuko? Why didn't he tell me that yesterday? Why would he play with my emotions like that? He isn't that type of person though. He wouldn't have done what he did, but Yuko looks so serious.

"Oh," I managed to say, "Well I can't help you with that. I've never had someone who likes me tell me they love me. Sorry Yuko." She looked at me with confusion.

"Trafalgar's never told you that," she asked. I didn't answer her. Instead I changed into my clothes and walked over to Traffy. He could see the concern in my eyes.

He didn't ask any questions because he knew I wouldn't answer. I just leaned on him. I'm glad he didn't move. Even though this small moment seemed like it could last forever it wasn't going to. I dreaded the thought of leaving Traffy for Coby but Coby is still my friend and I know he wouldn't do this. I decided to do a little investigation.

Traffy walked me to class today. He didn't want to let my hand go but he had to. I looked away from him so he could leave. He stared for a few more seconds before walking away. Coby was already in class when I walked in. He was real excited to see me too.

"Are you okay, you looked bummed out. Maybe you're tired from the movie," Coby says.

I looked at him. He looked at me. It was like our personalities switched with each other. "Coby, why didn't you tell me you were seeing someone," I asked.

"Huh? I'm not," he replied.

"Oh," I said.

"Why would you ask me something like that?"

"Someone told me that you told them you were in love with them."

He looked away for a moment then looked back at me. "Well I did tell someone that but I was practicing for when I really say it to that person. The girl of my dreams."

He smiled at me, then blushed and looked away. I don't know who to believe, although I have known Coby longer than Yuko and I know his heart. What is Yuko thinking? Something is definitely not right and there's only one other person who talks to Yuko.

"I'm sorry Mia," Coby said. "I should go." Class hasn't started yet and he wants to leave. I guess he's gonna go cry. I didn't mean to upset him. I was alone again. I walked alone, ate alone and I felt alone. Seventh period came around and Traffy was there.

"You're still depressed, aren't you," he asked.

"Traffy would you mind if I invaded your house today," I asked.

"I don't care. Stay however long you like, you can spend the night too."

The teacher passed out the work for us to do. Traffy turned around. Even though he was here I still felt alone. It's because Coby's upset. Class was over and Traffy held my hand.

"Uh Traffy, I have to go to the restroom. Wait for me outside okay?" He nodded. I wasn't really going to the restroom. If I was right, Coby was outside. I went around the back. When I got there I saw Traffy and Coby. They were talking to each other.

"You're that guy I always see around Mia...Coby right," Traffy asked.

"Yeah, who are you," Coby asked.

"Trafalgar Law."

"What are you to her," Coby asked.

"What does that matter to you," Traffy asked.

"I'm just curious that's all. Are you her boyfriend," Coby asked.

"I haven't made that clear to her yet. We're close enough to almost be considered mates," Traffy replied. I saw Coby's face. He was upset. "What did she tell you," Traffy asked.

"You two were just friends," Coby replied. I couldn't see Traffy's face but if I had to take a guess I'd say he's annoyed.

"Judging by the way she acts around you, I can tell she genuinely cares about you. She may be at the point where she loves you." Coby's face lit up.

"What does she feel about you then," Coby asked.

"I don't know."

Coby said, "I think she loves you too. A little more than me though." Coby looked down. "I'll never stop loving her though. I fell in love with her when I first met her."

"Then you're hurting yourself. Keep making yourself believe that nothing can be made into something but you'll only make your heart ache in the end. Your feelings will be the things that get hurt."

"No matter what, I won't stop loving her," Coby said.

"Then you're a fool."

I couldn't listen to Traffy continue to insult Coby so I went in and saved him.

"Hey guys," I say.

They both looked at me. Traffy, with a sort of dark expression and Coby looked like he wanted to cry. Coby said good-bye, with a fake smile, and left. Traffy and I began walking to his house. I tried to act like I didn't know anything. When we got to his house he went upstairs. He came back down with a red chrysanthemum. He wasn't one of those romantic types but at least he was considerate.

"I know I left you alone, with absolutely no type of contact and I want you to know that I'm sorry. I hope you can forgive me," Traffy said as he handed me the Chrysanthemum. Chrysanthemums were my favorite.

"Thank you, this is beautiful," I said. I had more to say. I didn't like the way he spoke to Coby. I don't like to see Coby cry. "Traffy, don't get me wrong, I appreciate the flower but..." I stopped myself. "I was eve's dropping on you and Coby and I...I didn't appreciate the way you talked to him. I know you are a very blunt guy, but Coby is my friend. I don't like to see my friends' feelings get hurt especially by someone I care about." I laid my head on his shoulder. I don't like confrontation and I don't like to be the person to do the confronting.

I went to sleep. I had a dream about Traffy. He told me he loved me... I told him I loved him too.

When I woke up I walked downstairs... I guess I forgot I spent the night at Traffy's house.

"Traffy, thank you for having me over. I didn't mean to spend the night but I guess I dozed off," I said.

"No problem but you have to go on a date with me tomorrow," he said. A date?

"Okay. Oh and can you walk me home. I got lost last time when I went by myself." He looked at me confused. "I don't have very good directions senses." He chuckled then took my hand and walked me home.

"Thanks Traffy." He watched me as I walked inside. When I turned around Franky was looking at me. "Where the hell have you been?"
