Next few days went in happiness and satisfaction. That instalike did change some lives. He stalked her profile day and night and she waited for him to make his next move.

"Maybe it was just a random like" she thought and went on with her work.
Each passing day she thought about that morning which made her snap from real and enter her world.
Finally in a heap of time she decided her mind needed a rest and so did her profile.

She went to the settings tab and clicked on the private button.

"No more random likes" she softly whispered.

In the evening on the last day of year , he was all alone, sitting quietly in his room. He got hold of his phone and clicked oh Instagram icon.
His hands automatically did their work and typed her name's first two letters.
Her name topped the list and he clicked it,with a smile on his face.
Her profile appeared but wait...it showed private.

What should he do?
Forget her or follow?
It was illogical and impossible to forget and he always wanted to follow but didn't wanted to come strong because she was a happy girl, who loves her own world. Why would she even care about the guy who can't just take a step ahead.

So with all the courage he could muster, he thought to himself that she will never bother knowing his case.

He clicked on the blue button which changed its color and showed 'requested'.
He just requested the high power that she may consider and accept his accord.

Sitting in a car with no internet connection ,she unlocked her phone just to take a peek.

OMG! Was this real or a dream? In this dilemma she screamed.

The whole family stared at her hard.
Father with surprise
Mother with concern
Siblings with suspicion.

"I just need to check something, its kinda urgent" she said.

"There is no connection, dear" dad said and she fell silent.

'He will delete the request' she thought which made her scowl.

Rest of the evening swept in mixed thoughts.
It was new year's eve so she dreamed a new dream.

There he checked his phone every passing hour.
For a notification which seems will never come.
Some times he considered going back and redoing everything normal again.
He should have never seen her in the bowling ally for the first time. The girl with red shoes.
But his heart held his hand firm, he should wait at least for a day.
So he decided on going to bed.

There she reached her home at 5 in morning, checking for connection she finally got.
Without thinking much she opened her Instagram.

Alas! It was still there.
She accepted his request and thought for a while but her mind wasnt working with all that wine.
So, she clicked the blue logo which turned green without hollow.

Next morning he woke up with jest and on top of everything saw her name.
She was following him!
A smile crept on his face.
And he felt ready for the new year ahead.

She on the other hand slept peacefully, with the smile she fell asleep with.

They both got their new year gift and all they say you are just a click away!
