Becoming Us

I had the perfect life. 

 By my senior year in high school, I was captain of my schools dance team. I had been homecoming queen twice. I’d been voted best body, best smile, best personality, most outgoing, most likely to become famous, best laugh, and best confidant. I was literally friends with everyone who was anyone. I was most likely to be voted this years senior prom queen. 

 Then she moved here. 

 Everything slipped away. All of my hard work fell down the drain. I lost it all. 

 But, if ever given the opportunity to go back and do it all again? I wouldn’t change a single thing.
