Chapter 9: Kid! Watch Where Your Going!

Pearl's POV,

I had a feeling that someone new was on the island. Someone I never knew is here. It's weird! I was just walking around in the jungle minding my own business. I climbed a tree to look at the view. Even though I was trapped on an island by a demon that looks like a boy, there's some perks of NeverLand.

"Pearl? Is that you?" I heard a small voice. It sounded like my voice but a little higher. It couldn't be though! I'm the only Lost Girl on this island. I drew my blade for protection.

"Who's there?" I ordered. Then a figure flew up to me. It looked like Pan's shadow but a girl! The hair was long, it looked to be wearing a skirt and heels. The eyes were a beautiful glowing green.

"It's me!" She said landing out her hand.

"I have no idea who you are!" I panicked.

"You don't recognise your own shadow?" She asked hurt.

"For all I know you could be Pan's shadow in disguise"

"But I'm not! I'm your actual shadow!"

"Then prove it to me! Tell me something only I would know!" I commanded.

"Your siblings are twins! Your from Virginia! Your parents want you to stop from reading fairy tale stories!" She listed some things about me.

"My shadow could have told you all that! If your really my shadow then tell me!"

"Why do I hate Peter Pan so much?!" I asked.

"Because he did something terrible to you. He lied to you, he used you and he erased your brother Andrew's mind of any knowing of you and Jenna" She explained. She's right, I never told anyone why I hated him. All I would say is that it's to painful to talk about. I drew back my blade putting it down. It really is my shadow!

"Wow! I though you were with Pan's shadow?" I asked. Normally his shadow would take other shadows to a weird place.

"I was able to escape, like you" She explained. She really is like me!

"Do you have a name?" I asked. She just shook her head.

"Why don't you give me one?" She offered. I though about it for a while.

"Shadow?" I offered. She disagreed.

"Angie?" She shook her head.

"Lela?" She disagreed again.

"Why don't you give me a name that represents a shadow like" She gave detail. I really had to think about it.

"Misty?" I offered.

"Misty? I like it!" She said happily. I couldn't help but smile.

"Well Misty! It's a pleasure to meet you" I greeted with my hand out. She shook it happily.

"And it's a pleasure to meet you too Pearl, or should I say TigerLilly?" She asked. I rolled my eyes.

"Just call me Pearl, it's my birth name anyways!"

"IT'S THIS WAY!" I heard a Lost Boy called.

"Shit" I cursed.

"Misty, it was nice meeting you but I have to go!" I jumped out of the tree, she flew away straight away. I sprinted my way through the jungle. I ran but I kept on hearing running footsteps left and right.

"Wait! Stop! I need your help!" I heard a boys voice. It sounded twelve. I knew it was a trick. I wasn't looking where I was going because I ran into a kid who looked twelve years old. The boy had dark brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black coat with a grey and red scarf. Blue jeans and sneakers. He looked liked he had his hands tied up with a white piece of plastic around his wrist.

"Kid! Watch where you're going! Your not the only one of the run!" I warned grabbing my arrows.

"Please! You need to help me!" He begged. He didn't look like a Lost Boy but for all I know he could be undercover.

"Sorry kid! What I need is to run!" Then I sprinted off. I just ran and ran and ran. I ran all the way to the side of the island. It didn't seem like I was followed. I looked over the sea, I saw a pirate ship. It must be Captain Hook and his crew. Wonder what's he doing back here? I knew him, we worked together a few times. I'm just curious on what he's doing here.
