I know it's been awhile but here's part 2 for ya, animeaholic4lyfe ^^

(It might be a little shorter than the first part, so I apologize for that -_-')

Within the padded, white walls of the mental asylum, you and Akashi sat on opposing sides near the short-legged table. Everything in the room was cold and bitter, which made it especially miserable for you since you were the one who was forced to live here.

"(Name)..."

You stared at the table in front of you, impassively, as your head went blank. You weren't completely out of touch, yet no particular thought seemed to pervade you at that moment.

"(Name)... It's your turn." Seijuro said softly as he placed a card with black spades into the discard pile. You glanced at his hand motion, feeling yourself sigh as you gently picked up a card from your shuffled pile and placed it on the discard pile.

Akashi gave you a small smirk as he looked over the card you put down, noticing that the symbols didn't quite match his card. You gulped, a warm rush of anxiety rising within you. The calm state you had been in just moments before was already long gone.

It wasn't the 'crazy eights' game that actually made you nervous. No, this 'game' was more of a joke than anything, really.

In reality, it was the subtle gestures that Akashi made towards you, such as the occasional smirk or suggestive look. His facial expressions had seemed to appear more and more as the game neared to an end. The thought caused dreadful scenarios to arise in your head.

Is he waiting for something?

Is it something bad?

Will he do something to me?

Does he expect me to do something?

"You're losing so far," Akashi said with a slightly teasing tone. "What are you going to do?"

You gripped your fists, feeling yourself bubble with displeasure at his deriding words. What was he trying to insinuate? Didn't he already know what misery he had caused you?

You let yourself pause at the thought. He always did have a sadistic tendency... perhaps he did know and that's why he decided to do this to you. Your distress and uneasiness most likely made this invidious situation play out longer than it should have.

A soft smile illuminated your face as you let out a deep breath. Grabbing a card from the pile and placing it down, face up, you began to speak:

"I'm going to win, obviously, that's what I'm doing to do," Your face radiated with a feigned innocence as you spoke with a taunting tone. "What are you going to do, Seijuro?"

Akashi kept quiet as a vaguely conflicted look appeared in his eyes. His demeanor didn't feel as defeated as you would've hoped it was, moreover, it seemed as if he was deciding on a reaction and which one he would provide. It was disappointing, yet you were pleased that you at least confused him.

You looked down at the card pile, noticing that your lucky draw had won that move. If it hadn't, your words would have been more satirical than threatening.

You attempted to reach for another card when, suddenly, Akashi gently grabbed your wrist and pulled it back. You blinked for a few seconds as you stared at him, puzzled.
