Hey yall, so the last time we saw kiara and xander, they were going to get cookies.
I walk beside Xander on the way back to the car and watch him closely, trying to detect how he is feeling. The parking area is a few blocks from the cookie place so it gives me a minute to talk to him.
"Do you like the cookies?" I ask, but he does not respond so I continue to walk, avoiding the cracks in the sidewalk.
After a painfully quiet few minutes, Xander finally speaks up.
"What happened to us?" He looks at me before quickly looking back down at the box of cookies.
I sigh, knowing I couldn't have avoided this conversation for too much longer.
"Xander you know what happened, we moved too fast."
He looked pained
"You would think that means we stay together." He spat quietly
"Yeah but it didn't, you left after the miscarriage. So tell me, why are you mad!?" I stare at him bitterly "You f.ucking left! When I needed you most, you leave and go pursue your dreams of what?!"
He doesn't answer
"I didn't have a choice Kiara!" He speaks up after a few more seconds.
"Yes you did!" I scream as we get closer to the car. "And you chose to leave."
I walk quickly towards the car without another word.
I watch her walk off. I never realized how hurt by it she was. She seemed okay with my decision when I made it so long ago.
We were so young, nobody knew about our relationship, not even Victoria or my mom. We didn't want anyone to know and I didn't want anyone to judge us. I don't even know what we were. I'd loved her for so long when she finally gave in I took the oppurtunity but that was obviously not the right way to go. We slipped up and she got pregnant at 16 and ended up having a miscarriage at month two, since she wasnt showing nobody knew she was ever pregnant and nobody ever knew we were having sex considering it was illegal.
I want her to forgive me I really do, but it seems like that wont be happening any time soon. I shouldn't have left, I regretted it right after, but I couldn't go back, not when I was so close then even though it slipped away.
As I pull up into my parking spot I see that Kiara and Xander are gone. I wonder where they went. I decide to give them a call.
The phone rings for a few seconds and then Kiara finally picks up
"Hey girl hey, oh my god you are not going to believe what happened to me!"
She says nothing back but I can hear muffled arguing in the background.
"Kiara wait!" I call after her, recognizing i'm not going to just let her slip away, not this time. I run towards her.
"Victoria is calling, i'm going to take it." She says, putting her finger up at me.
"No." I say reaching for the phone and pushing the button to turn off the screen
I stick her phone in her purse and look at her.
"Kiara child why are you not responding to me! A bi.tch has good news!" I say but once again nothing
Then I hear her finally speak
"Xander, we can't keep doing this." I hear Kiara plead. What is going on?
"No, just hear me out please, I have loved you forever! I know I was wrong to walk out on you, especially because you lost the baby but I didn't know what to do! I was ninteen and you were sixteen...I could have gone to jail...I know I did you wrong but please just give me another chance. You've been my everything forever, please."
I hang up before I get pissed enough to throw my phone into the concrete.
What the f.uck is going on! My brother got my bestfriend pregnant! And neither of them told me. Some explaining is due.
"Xander...." I hear a sound come from my purse.
I pull my phone out of my purse before looking at it. "Xander let me call her back."
I unlock it and see the words
Call ended
Call time: 3 minutes
"Oh my god." I shake
Xander looks concerned. "What?"
"She heard everything, you didn't end the call!" I panic.
Hey! I realize this is a short update and a longer one is coming soon. If you were confused, the pov switches between all 3 of our characters. And if you have a problem with Kiara getting pregnant at 16 by a 19 year old you aren't in tune with the sh.it that goes on in real life. I realize she was young but that's the point. Don't forget she and Victoria are both 19 now and Xander is 22
