It has been a week since the major fight between you and Kageyama, a week since your break up. He felt so bad about what happened and continuously blamed himself but you did the same thing, blame yourself.

He'd watch you from a distance, you'd chat happily with Hinata and could hold a polite conversation with Tsukishima now that he was he gone. You still looked beautiful even with that bruise on your cheek, a stain he created on your beautiful face.

You could smile. Just like that, just smile without a sudden care in the world but you always thought about what happened, Kageyama was now detaching himself from everyone else; forgetting his passion for volleyball.

"Kageyama." He turned to face you, a ghost of a smile graced your lips and it made him feel even worse. "Do well at practice." You patted his shoulder and then left, feeling a bit better. Kageyama stared at your figure as you left and he too, felt better.

You knew what he did was him losing control of his temper and you did hit him as well, you started it and you couldn't bear to watch the boy you loved suffer in despair.

...

He was heading towards the vending machine for his usual dose of milk, before overhearing your conversation with Yachi and Kiyoko. He honestly didn't mean to eavesdrop but he wanted to make sure you were okay, Kageyama loved you.

"(F/n)-chan, I think you're making the right decision." Yachi told you sternly, holding your hands as Kageyama watched from behind the wall. "He's too much for you to handle but-" Kageyama ran off, clearly upset at the fact that it sounded like you'd never forgive him but he didn't hear the rest of the conversation. "But you guys will work it out, nothing can stop love!"

"Yachi-chan, it was quite a serious thing though. It could happen again but I honestly agree with you, (f/n)-chan." Kiyoko spoke up, her hand on your shoulder. "Take him back, make things right. It's obvious how lost you both are without each other."

"Thank you, Yachi and Kiyoko. I really needed your insight but this is my choice and I choose Tobio." You said, smiling whilst tearing up a little. "Oh my! I've gotta go find him!" You waved at them before rushing off yo find the tall boy, running into students occasionally and hitting a wall or two.

You finally found him, sitting in an empty classroom and staring at a crushed milk drink box that was in his hand. He hadn't noticed you so you crept in before you accidentally ran into a desk, making Kageyama look up abruptly; face hardening as he saw you but it was you that made him angry and upset, it was the blue-purplish reminder of his anger that was on your cheek that did.

"Gomen!" You said, scratching you neck as you walked closer to him, unfazed by his hard look. You looked through your lashes at him and his face softened as you went in for a hug, arms wrapped around his muscular torso making him immediately go stiff at your warm embrace. "I miss you, I'm sorry."

A tear leaked from your eye and onto his uniform as you squeezed him, wanting a reaction from him. Some sort of forgiveness or comfort but he just sat there. You pulled away briefly, muttering a 'forget about it' under your breath as you went to walk away before a large hand gasped your wrist.

"No. I won't forget about it." The setter said sternly, half his face hidden by his raven hair. "Don't apologise for my dictating behaviour, it was my fault." He looked up with tear glazed eyes and his face distraught. "I-I hit y-you, (f/n)!"

He attacked you into a tight hug, telling you how sorry he was over and over again. You smiled to yourself, he wasn't being such a tsun-tsun now.

You pushed him away with a warm smile before going in for a longing kiss. It may have been a week since your fight and all but he was the one for you and the fact he was so broken and lost without you was scary. You loved Kageyama and he loved you.

You pulled back before caressing his cheek, he hummed and held your hand with his with an obvious blush on his cheeks. "Oh, Tobio. I forgive you but I'm sorry for provoking you, you just wanted to protect me." He shook his head at you.

"But (f/n), I hit you and I was controlling you just like a k-king!" This made him look away as you laughed at this before taking his head in your hands, kissing him fully on the mouth again. This was so easy since he was sitting on a desk.

"Shush, talk details later. I just want you back in my life." You told him, kissing him again as he nodded with a hot face. "I needed to make this right with you, that's all that matters."

"Oh and (f/n)," you stopped and looked in his eyes. "No matter what, you always look beautiful." He kissed your bruised cheek lightly, sending tingles in your skin. "And I love you."
