Chapter 33 | Unexpected Appearance

"Shall we tell them now? Or after? Maybe after."

"After. It would be too awkward to shoot the scene with them knowing."

"Yeah. Are you nervous? I am."

She turned to him and laughed. "It will be good, relax."

The day had finally arrived.
The 100th episode third shooting day, the one where they'd shoot their first time.

"You're more relaxed than I am." he stated. "The irony."

"It's all fiction. At least it should be." she teased him.

She was finally dressed up as Emma Swan, her devilishly handsome pirate waiting patiently for her.

Jen has already been through this. Many times.
And this time was for a familiar show. She was completely relaxed.

Colin was nervous, laughing at everything people said even if it was no joke at all, trying to convince himself that he was okay. But he wasn't.
It would be one of the little times he exposed his bare skin to the world. Usually whatever went wrong, he could blame the fact that it was weird for him because the woman playing the scene with him wasn't his wife. But today, he no longer could use that excuse.

And then, the thought of having her with him.

He had read the scripts a million of times at the hotel, she'd join him practicing with him and giving him ideas of how he could act in each moment, and he always kept teasing her with flirting comments which actually relaxed him.

They had not practiced the scene physically, though he had considered on asking her to do it but that would be just too awkward and he didn't want her to think he just wanted to take advantage of her.

"Shit."

"What?" he quickly turned around once he heard her.

"I forgot my phone. I'll meet you there."

"Do you really need it?" he sighed, because that meant he wouldn't have her to calm him down.

"Yes I do, I wanna post something for the 101 Smiles."

He nodded and pulled her in to kiss her brow, turning around to walk again and using his phone as a distraction.

She walked in a hasty pass back to her trailer, thoughts on the fact that her dork was really nervous for their scene. It made her feel stronger, possible of doing anything and at the same time it made her laugh, smile, feel thankful to the world for finally giving that man in her life.

She remembered her first intimate scene on Television, with Matthew Davis. She remembered her mother had freaked out a bit and after a 4-hours conversation the two became close. They became friends, they trusted each other with intimate secrets, silly questions, and whenever they needed comfort. Her mother always joked about her whenever she was shirtless on a TV Show, or when she even posed all nude for Allure, always being proud of her daughter and encouraging her, because she trusted her. She truly trusted on her daughter's intentions.
