Chapter 5: The Battle Begins

Me, Temari, and Kankuro got in our fighting stances with our weapons ready. And Gaara got his sand ready in front of him. "It's an honor to fight the Kazekage myself I must say." Kabuto said to Gaara. " Shut up... You know you're going to lose, so why fight?" Gaara said.

"I want to fight you because I want to test my new strength and my new jutsu I learned from my master, Lord Orochimaru." Kabuto answered with a grin on his face. Gaara growled and said, "You don't even stand a chance against the four of us, even with your new jutsu..." Gaara said losing his patience. "We'll see about that..." Kabuto said with a wider grin on his face.

Kabuto did really fast hand signs that none of us could follow. When he finished, he yelled, "SECRET JUTSU!" And then, all of a sudden, the ground that we were standing on got all distorted. "Genjutsu?" I thought to myself. Then the ground started to get soft and then became a huge hole and we fell in it.

"AHHHHH!" Me, Temari, and Kankuro yelled except for Gaara. Gaara stayed quiet and then he took his sand to catch us and then bring us back up and on a tree. "Thank you Gaara!" I said as I ran to Gaara and hugged him tight. Gaara was blushing like crazy and he hugged me back. "Y-You're welcome (Y/N)." Gaara said as he stopped hugging me.

"Awww." Temari said as she made a heart with her fingers. "S-Shut up!" I said blushing. Gaara looked back at Kabuto and saw him smiling menacingly. "What jutsu is that?" Gaara asked Kabuto. "That was my new jutsu that I was just talking about that I learned from my master, Lord Orochimaru. It makes the enemy's ground that they're stepping on sink and make them sink and die as well, but with that bothersome sand of yours, Gaara, you didn't die... Oh well, I guess we'll just fight the old fashioned way." Kabuto said.

I then took my Kunai Knife and threw it to Kabuto. He dodged it really fast. "How does he move that fast?" I asked myself. He then came running to me at full speed, and no one could even see him. Then I saw him in front of me for a second and then I felt a huge urge of pain coming from my stomach. He punched me really hard. "OWWW!" I said in pain as I clutched my stomach and fell to the ground. "(Y/N)!" Gaara yelled as he ran to me. He kneeled down to the floor beside me and he touched my shoulder. "A-Are you ok (Y/N)?" Gaara asked me with worry in his voice. I shook my head no because the pain was so unbearable that I couldn't even speak.

"You'll pay for that..." Gaara said as he looked at Kabuto with cold eyes and with the intent to kill. (He looks like how he is in the picture at the beginning.) "What's this? The jinchuuiki is angry because I hurt his best friend? Or maybe his girlfriend? I don't know. I can't tell. How scary you are." Kabuto said sarcastically. Gaara growled and his chakra became so strong and more powerful that you could see it....
