Hey, happy belated New Year! I can't believe it's already 2016. It still feels like 2012 to me.
Anyway, I thought it seemed fitting to write up some trans-y resolutions based on the goals in this book. So, without further ado, my 2016 goals to destroy dysphoria and be happy and healthy.
My 2016 Goals to Destroy Dysphoria and be Happy and Healthy
1. Work out as much as possible!
I'd like to work out at least every other day, and I've been pretty good with that so far. I hope I can keep it going!
2. Start coming out!
By next year, I hope to be out to my parents enough that they know I "like girls". And by summer break I'd like to be out as agender to most of my LGBT friends.
3. Figure out a more effective binding method!
TMI warning: my chest is bigger than it was when I first started binding at the beginning of the year, and my sports-bra-and-cami method isn't working too well anymore. I've got to either make a more effective method or somehow get a binder without my parents knowing.
I think that's about it, honestly. Sorry if that was a bit anticlimactic, but I don't want to overwhelm myself! Basically I want to start looking and feeling more like me this year.
Oh, also: I've decided on El as my name. Maybe I'll start telling my friends to call me El. I've edited the first chapter's "quick facts" sort of thing to reflect this and I hope you'll respect it as my name and won't use my birth name anymore. Thanks!
~El (God I love this name)

BOB JUST USED MY NAME ASDFGHJKL I AM SO HAPPY
Sorry about that...I'm just really happy! Also I will be referring to Bob as CiCi from now on because that is the name he asked me to use, and as it is not his birth name, it cannot be used to find him or anything like that. Also CiCi and I now have plans to open a store full of androgynous/ambiguous clothing, binders, packers, breast forms, etc. in LA. "Anything for anyone." It's gonna be great!
