I know that I usually put my Author's Note at the end of the story, but I owe you guys an apology. I know this story is late, and I'm really sorry for that. I've been severely ill this past week. I'm still stuck on this story, even though I think about it all the time. I find the best place to think is in the shower! Okay, enough of my rambling. Here's the story. I promise I'm trying hard to make the story flow, so let me know what you think in the comments. Please?!?! Thanks <3

Alice's POV

I don't know how he found out, and I didn't ask. As soon as I saw my big brother in the doorway, and practically ran into his arms.

He encased me in a protective hug, and I let myself cry on his shoulder. He'd always been there for me, and I was so happy to see him.

"It's alright Aly, I'm here for you" Drew murmured, kissing the top of my head.

I buried my head into his chest and slowly got myself back under control. I had to keep it together for my kids.

"Hey Uncle Drew" Trey said, casually.

"Hey" Drew said, softly.

"How did you get off of work? Don't you have a game" Spencer asked. He'd always been fascinated by Drew's job, and we always got free tickets to see him whenever he was close.

"My nephews are in the hospital, and my sister is all alone. Do you really think they could've kept me at practice, even if they had wanted to?"

I let go of Drew. "How did you know?"

"Blake called."

"Blake" I asked, raising my eyebrows.

"He called my agent, and I've been trying to call you all day. And finally I just flew down here myself."

He walked over to Trey and Spencer. "Hey boys. Which one wants to tell me what happened?"

"I was driving," Trey said, "and I went at the green light, and Blake Warren crashed into the side of my car."

"How did you manage to do that to your leg" Drew asked Spencer.

"I was told that I had my leg up on the dashboard" Spencer muttered.

"You were told? You can't remember what happened?"

Spencer shook his head. "It's like a black hole in my memory. I have no recollection of what happened."

Drew sighed. "Well I'm glad you guys are alive. That's the main thing. Obviously, Spencer has a crushed leg. What happened to you" he asked Trey.

"Dislocated shoulder and a concussion, nothing too serious."

"Nothing too serious? Are you kidding me? A concussion is serious!"

"Not as serious as Spencer's injuries."

Drew shook his head. "Your name is Trey, not Spencer. You have a concussion. That's a serious injury."

He turned to look at me, with a small smile on his face. "I called mom and dad on my way here. Dad could only get a few days off, but mom's got her bags packed and she's ready to live here."

I laughed, and let him take me in his arms. "Thank you."

"We're your family Aly, we're here for you. You just have to let us know." He pulled out his Droid. "They invented these new things, they're called a cell phone. You should try it sometime."

I laughed. "Mine's in my car, and I've been in this hospital since yesterday."

"Alright, so I'm here for the week, and then I've gotta fly back Friday morning. So what do you want me to do?"

Spencer's POV

I hadn't seen my mom genuinely smile in a while, but Uncle Drew just seemed to bring that out in her. She practically glowed whenever she met eyes with him.

"I'll be right back" mom said, kissing my forehead. "I'm just going to run downstairs."

I nodded, and watched her leave. As if right on cue, my leg began to throb.

I groaned inwardly. Why now? My mom just left!

I looked at Uncle Drew, who was talking quietly with Trey. They would both shoot looks at me every once in a while. I debated telling him I needed pain meds, but their conversation looked pretty deep.

I shot of pain ran up my leg, and it wiped all the rational thoughts out of my head.

"Trey" I called, as another shot of pain came. I grimaced, gripping onto the bed. It was amazed at how fast the pain came on.

"Hey buddy, what's wrong" Trey asked, as Uncle Drew rushed to my side.

Uncle Drew knelt down next to me. "What can I do?"

"Pain meds" I said, through gritted teeth. There were no more shots of pain, it was just constant, sharp pain. I kept my teeth clenched to keep from screaming.

Trey pressed the button, and Uncle Drew took my hand. "Squeeze it. Give it everything you've got."

I crushed his hand in mine, and I saw his eyebrows go up in surprise. "You have a tough grip when you're in pain."

Nurse Sarah came in with pain meds.

"Hey baby" she said, handing me my pills and some water.

I took the meds and she ruffled my hair. "Hang in there baby boy, you'll be home before you know it."
