"ANNABETH!" My stepmom shouted. What can it be this time. I grabbed my purse, wallet, phone, and keys, jumped out of the window and headed straight for my car.
"ANNABETH!" My stepmom yelled louder. I got into my car and drove to Piper's house. I took out my phone and called Piper.

So you see what had happened was my dad married a girl and turns out she hates children. So she beats me up hoping that one day I die. And here's the scary part. I... Didn't ... Tell... Piper.
