"OK, why did Fury want us to come down here?" Tony asks.
"He said that something or someone interfered with some of S.H.I.E.L.D's equitment." Clint says.
"Well I think the old pirate is just paranoid." Tony says.
"Pirate? Really?" Bruce asks.
"I thought it was quite funny." Thor says.
"See Shakespeare over there can take a joke." Tony says pointing at Thor. Thor just looks at him.
"Would you stop it? Let's just report back and tell Fury it was nothing." Steve says. They all turn to leave.
"Aww do you not want to stay with me?" An unknown voice says.
They all turn around to see a women. She has black hair, yellow snake looking eyes, and her skin pale with a red tent on her hands and arms but no where else. She smiles her teeth are white as snow.
"Who are you? Were you the one interfering with the equipment?" Steve asks.
"Well I had to get you here somehow." She says she starts to walk, circling like something is about to happen. "I have heard a lot about you, the Avengers. What a heroic name. My name, is not so heroic. My name is Vritra."
"What? Ha her name means dragon! What do you have fire powers Miss Dragon?" Tony says laughing.
"Yes, yes I do." Vritra says. Tony stops laughing.
"Oh, well I didn't expect her to say yes." Tony says.
"What are your intentions Drago- I mean Vritra?" Thor asks.
"Oh nothing really. Just to end all of your lives in a slow and painful death. Then to rule the world of course." Vritra say simply.
"Alright Dragon lady, let's just think for a second. There are what, let's do a head count here, one two three......six. Six of us, and one of you. I don't think you stand a chance." Tony says.
"It is not wise to tick off the person who means to kill you." Vritra says. "Are we going to fight or what?"
"Call it Cap." Natasha says.
"She wants a fight, let's give it to her." Steve says.
Captain America throws his shield, Vritra just leans to the side dodging it.
"That was weak." She says.
"Don't be so sure." Steve says. His shield come flying back hitting Vritra in the back of the head, knocking her head forward. She looks back up.
"I really thought that would hurt more. My turn." Vritra says.
She makes fire appear at her finger tips. The small amount of fire turns into a huge ball. Vritra hurls the ball at Captain America. He dodges it. An arrow flies out of no where towards Vritra. She catches it and throws it back where it came from. Hawkeye jumps right before it explodes.
"Oo fancy, it goes boom." Vritra mocks.
Thor throws his hammer at Vritra. She dodges it and then throws fire at it.
"There now it looks hot. Fire is all the rage these days." She says.
Black Widow attacks, she lands a punch on Vritra. Vritra wipes the corner of her mouth.
"Oh, you're the fierce one. You actually landed a punch." Vritra says. Black Widow says nothing. "But not fierce enough."
Vritra throws fire at Black Widow until she finally has to take cover. Iron Man goes at Vritra. He flies over her head, she doesn't even turn around. She grabs his foot and throws him to the ground, then starts to submerge him in fire. Iron Man's suit starts to over heat, fast, faster than it ever has before. He can't get up and it's starting to burn him.
