CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE: TMHNW (New Life)

SKYLAER'S POV

"Papa!"- a big smile was curved on his lips.

Hades Devaughn Yakosuma.

"What's with the big smile, son?"- I reached his arms then lift him.

"Tita Bethany called. She said she's coming over. I hope she's with Averry, please tell her to bring her over. Please?"- he said brushing his nose to mine.

Hay nako. Eto na naman siya. I really know this child, malambing pag may kailangan tapos snob na 'pag wala na.

But in our four years together, I've been fathering him.

"Yea, yea. As you wish, son."- ako.

Napalundag ang bata at kitang-kita ko kung gaano siya kasaya.

"What's happening here, people?"- Winter.

"Eto kinukulit na naman ako ng batang to, Sugar. Anyway, Bethany's coming over. Si Hades ang nakasagot ng telepono."- ako at binuhat si Hades.

"Huh? What for? Oh, let me guess."- siya at umaktong nag-iisip.

"Sugar naman. We know Bethany so much. Kaya magready na tayo ng pagkain, at nako."- ako na hinagkan ang pisngi ng bata.

"Mommy, can you please bake some cookies? For me and Averry."- pa-cute na pagrerequest ni Hades.

Winter smiled.

"Sure, honey."- aniya at humalik kay Hades.

"So what now, son?"- ako na bumaling sa kay Hades.

Ngumiti siya ng pagkatamis-tamis.

"I love you, Papa!"- he said then kissed my cheek.

Maya-maya ay may bumusina na sa labas ng gate.

"Papa! Mommy! Tita Bethany has arrived!"- si Hades na halata ang pagka-excited.

Nagtatakbo ito at sumalubong sa Tita Bethany niya.

"Hi, Averry."- my son smiled then kisses the back of the hand of Averry.

Napangiti ako.

"We have to talk about something, Couz. And you'll be excited, I know. Lalo ka na, Winter."- ani Bethany at pumasok na kami sa loob ng bahay.

Iniwan na namin ang mga bata na naglalaro.

"It's about Victoria's Secret's Fashion Show."- pagsisimula ni Bethany.

"Expected."- natatawa-tawang sambit ni Winter.

"Pero.. it's not just about that. There's a transaction that will be held during the show."- Bethany.

"I'm not interested, Beth."- si Winter.

"Really? Kahit pa sabihin ko na isa ang D'mitri-Ferrer Mafia sa aattend?"- sabi ni Bethany na ikinasinghap ni Winter.

"I think it's time for you to reveal yourself to them. Ramp. Ipakita mo na iba ka na."- si Bethany.

Nagkatinginan kami ni Winter.

"Pag-isipan mo."- Bethany smiled.

"And you will be the queen of the night."- Bethany grinned.

WINTER'S POV

Sa lahat na ngisi na alam ko, kay Beth ang pinakaayaw ko.

I know her, there's something in her grins. Napakamapanlinlang ng mga yon, pilya, may binabalak at parang alam niyo na.

Pero sa lahat ng mga messenger na kilala ko, siya ang pinakagusto ko, detalyado at siya narin ang gumagawa ng paraan sa mga yon. Katulad ngayon.

"What will be the theme?"- ako.

"Simple. Gothic. Don't worry about the dress that you will wear, I'll take care of it. You are the queen, so you will be the best of all."- she said then wink.

Napatango ako.

"Handa ka na ba?"- si Skylaer.

"I am."
