I've skipped a big chunk of the summer because I don't like writing a book that takes place during the summer because there's no way I could work any relationship drama in for Ricky and Kat if they're not around other people for five days a week. Besides Ricky and Kat have a really boring summer between work and only having two real friends: Connie and Jake.
Chapter Twelve : Back to School Special
The summer passed by too fast for my liking and now it was back to that fun place I like to call school. I was a junior now and Ricky being a senior. Just what I needed, right? The only guy I've ever cared for, and now we're ten months away from being split apart so he could get a higher education.
We were still together thankfully, and things were going good for us. I was getting ready for the first day of school when Ricky walked into my room when of course I shirtless because he just likes to catch me off guard. I didn't attempt to cover my chest because I don't see the difference in a bikini top and a bra so he's practically already seen this when we went to the beach.
"Connie wants to know if you want to ride with her," he said handing me my phone. I grabbed it out of his hand and stuck the phone to my ear. Ricky disappeared behind me looking at my jewelry collection.
"Hey, Connie," I said looking through my closet for a shirt to wear.
"Like I asked Ricky," she said, "do you two want to ride with me and Jake or do you want to show up on your first day on the back of Ricky's motorcycle?"
"I'm going to say---" I was cut off when I felt Ricky's arm wrap around my waist and his lips press to my collarbone and began moving up towards my jaw. I closed my eyes and let my head fall back against his shoulder.
His hands began to explore downward landing on my thighs. I drug his nails against the bare skin of my thigh and an embarrassing moan escaped my mouth at the same time that Connie was in the middle of asking what I was going to say.
"We'll being taking the motorcycle," I said quickly then hung up on her, throwing my phone down on my desk, and turning so that I was facing Ricky all in about three seconds flat. I pulled his mouth down to mine and back him up towards my bed. I gently pushed him so that he was laying down propped up on his elbows and so that I was straddling him. "That was very mean. I was on the phone."
"I'm sorry," he said against my mouth.
"Oh, you're going to be," I said pressing my lower half to his then jumping off of him before he could even react. "We're going to be late for school, and no one likes to be late on their first day."
I walked over to my closet pulling out my old Skillet concert t-shirt. Connie's dad had bought us tickets for a concert in the summer between ninth and tenth grade. I would never forget that concert when I got John and Korey Cooper and Jen Ledger to sign it. I couldn't get to Seth to sign it because I had to go. I pulled on my blue jean vest and then my black converses. Now I was ready to go, but I couldn't say the same for Ricky.
"Come on," I said, "slowpoke!"
I leaned over him to check if he was still breathing because he hasn't moved for like two minutes now. Before I was able to react, Ricky grabbed me flipped us over so that I pinned underneath him. I struggled against his hold, but it was no use this guy is strong ox.
"Ricky, let go of me," I said. I didn't like this for a lot of reason, but one that stood out was because this reminded me of how my father used to hold me down. He didn't know this so I couldn't be mad at him, but I had to let him know. "Ricky, I don't like this! Get off of me!"

I stepped out the bathroom in nothing but a t-shirt when I ran into someone. I didn't even check to see who it was as I let out a scream. "What are you doing here?" he asked. "What am I doing here? Why are you in my house?" "This is my house," he sa...
