I woke up early in the morning, unsure of where I was. After a while I recognized that I was in Zay's house. It was quiet and I felt like I was being watched.

I looked up from where I was sleeping. I was on a couch. Zay must have set me on it after I fainted. I couldn't remember what made me faint.

I got up to find Zay. I checked in the kitchen first, because that was the only room that I knew how to get to. I didn't want to wander in some place that I wasn't allowed.

I walked in the kitchen and saw him sitting at the table, eating cereal. There was another bowl at the seat where I sat when I had dinner there. He wasn't looking at me, so I sat down without a word. I picked up my spoon, at least I hoped he put it there for me, and started to eat.

I was actually very curious on why I was here. I couldn't remember anything that happened before I fainted. I took a shot at talking.

"Morning Zay." He looked up and I remembered.

His dark eyes reminded me how bright they were yesterday, and how pointy his ears were, and how his teeth were sharper than normal human teeth should be.

"Morning Amber."

I widened my eyes and tried to talk but could only mouth the word 'you'. He kept looking at me waiting for me to speak. He kept waiting, and waiting and waiting.
