Facade

Chapter 2:

Soul's POV:
I get to school in my motorcycle as usual then walk to class. I sit in my usual spot and watch Mama form the corner of my eye, I then notice how lifeless and sad she looks. "Hey Maka you OK?" I ask concerned she quickly waves her hands and says with a grin "I'm perfectly fine Soul" but I can notice something is wrong. 'I want to know what's wrong with my Meister and why is she hiding it from me.'

Maka's POV:
I'm sitting down in the classroom waiting for Stein to start his lecture I try to distract myself by thinking of his last dissection I grimace as I think of it but still my mind wanders back to last night a day I wish I could forget, a day that left so many bruises in my body and so much sadness in my heart.

~flash back~
I was running back home I was late because of some kids bullying me and I knew Papa would be mad if I was late. I open the door and rush in to the kitchen to start making dinner when dad storms out of his room feeling at me "Why the fuck are you late and why isn't dinner ready?!" He grabs me by my hair and lifts me up as I yelp in pain. "I'm sorry Papa I got out late from school I came as fast as I could" I say with tears running down my face. He let's go of me making me fall on the floor and starts kicking my sides yelling "No excuses its your fault your mother left you are useless!" I cry as he keeps kicking me until he gets tired if doing so before he leaves to his room he says "Dinner better be ready in 30 minutes."
~end of flash back~
A question snaps me back into reality "hey Maka you OK?" I shake my head quickly and say with a fake grin "I'm perfectly fine Soul" 'If only you knew how broken I am Soul.'

-Time skip end of class day-
3rd POV:
"Hey guys why don't you come over to my place?" Asks kid Liz and Patty standing by his side. "Your god will go now bow before you god muahahaha!!" Yells Black star while Tsunami is trying to calm him down. All of them agree to meet there except Make "Sorry Kid I gotta go home" Soul decides to follow her "Hey Maka want me to take you home?" Maka shakes her head "no it's fine I'll walk home." "I insist let me take you" says Soul. "O-ok" Maka agrees nervously thinking what will her father do if he sees Soul...
