Because I'm a bitch I wanted to make this chapter as interesting as I could. Idk if it is but oh well. Buy Pillowtalk!
NO THIS IS NOT EDITED. I'LL DO THAT LATER. YES THERE PROBABLY A SHIT TON OF MISTAKES. IGNORE THEM.
I wrap my jacket tighter around my body as I walk alongside Zayn. His hand intertwined in mine and snow lightly falling around us. It's really peaceful and calming. I love this. I love the way Zayn is acting. I love that he isn't holding bavk anymore and we could officially be togegher. I love him.
"What are you thinking about?" I ask him. He has been awfully quiet these past for minutes.
"Uh, nothing really," he says and o frown a bit.
"Come on Zayn," I nudge his shoulder a little. "You can trust me." Zayn looks down at me and smiles.
"Just what is gonna happen when we get back to London."
"What do you mean?"
"Just all the drama with Ross. Those random ass notes you've been getting. I can't help it, I just think you might be better off if you stay here and I just go back." He says and I stop walking.
"Zayn," I calmly say. "If you don't want to be with me, I understand. Hell, I'm use to people not wanting me. You don't have to lie or come up with some bullshit to get rid of me."
"What?" he looks at me surprised.
"It's okay, if you don't want me," I repeat. It hurts to say it. I really do love Zayn, but it's clear he doesnt want me or feels the same way. I mean why else would he not want me to to back with him?
"That isn't it Toots," he sighs.
"Then what is it? Why else wouldn't you want me to go back? And don't give me any bullshit."
"It's not bullshit. I truly am worried about you. I don't want you to get hurt," he says and I sigh
"Zayn it's been months since all of this started. If Ross really wanted me then he would have done something by now. Plus I have school and work. I'm not staying here."
A strange and unexplainable expression crosses Zayn's features. He looks almost scared.
"You're right," he barley smiles and pulls me closer to him. "Nothing to worry about." He says before kissing me softly. I lightly smile into the kiss, still a little confused.
The air is filled with an awkward tension as I help my mom with dinner with Jeannette. Today is Zayn and mines last full day before we leave. And my parents thought it'd be nice to have a familh dinner. I'm not really looking foward to it considering it never turns out well for me. I'm sucking it up though in hopes that my relationship with my family can actually be repaired. If they're willing to make it work then so am I.
"So Madison," my mom begins as she continues to chop the vegtables. "How long have you and Zayn been together?"
"Well I've known him since I moved to London. We really didn't, uh," I pause not really know how to explain mine and Zayn's relationship. "I don't know, I guess start liking eachother until about two months ago, maybe a little before."
"Well you both seem very fond of eachother," she observes.
"Yes, we really are," I smile to myself at the thought.
"Do you love him?" she asks me, which makes me smile more because I do. I love Zayn.
"I don't really think we've been together longer enough to truly tell," I say instead of just admitting my love for him. We might be starting fresh, but I know how judgemental she is. "But I really, really, really like him."
