The Bombshell

Part 14: Robin's Pov

   I had been tasked with explaining the whole Zelena situation to the residents of Storybrooke and so far it wasn't going that great. "And that brings us up to date." Everyone in the room had a rather odd look on their faces; a mixture of total shock and utter confusion

   "Well, that's not what I expected to hear." My gaze remained set on the floor because I was unable to look any of them in the eye. I felt so ashamed of what I had done; what I had let happen. Zelena tricked me. I knew it wasn't my fault but that didn't stop me from feeling somewhat responsible. "Woah!" Mary Margaret snapped me back to reality. "She's even more of a sociopath than I thought." She was surprised. I guess even she had tried to see the good in Zelena, even after what the witch had done to her family in the past.

   The door to Granny's chimed indicating that someone was on their way in to join us. "I trust you filled them in?" It was Regina. She came in and took a hold of my hand, squeezing it tight. Clearly she and Emma had locked Zelena away where she no longer had the use of her magic and couldn't hurt anyone.

   "Indeed I have." I replied as Regina turned her attention to the crowd of people gathered before us. They were all really confused and we were their only hope at getting rid of The Author. "And Zelena?" I added nervous as to what her response would be.

   "She's safely locked up below the hospital and she can't use her magic to escape. She's powerless." I smiled, proud of her for not hurting her sister, no matter how wicked she may be.

   "You mean you didn't hurt her?" Hook was surprised to hear that she had spared Zelena the pain that she deserved.

   "She could be the spawn of Satan for all I care, and I still wouldn't hurt her. She is pregnant after all." That wasn't the only reason Regina didn't hurt Zelena. They were sisters; family, and as much as Regina hated her, a part of her wanted to help Zelena.

   "So what do we do about The Author?" Emma changed the subject and it was obvious that Regina was glad of it. Honestly, so was I. My mind was filled with thoughts of how Zelena had managed to play my wife so convincingly; the last thing I wanted was to have to talk about it or hear others gossiping about it.
