Spencers POV
“I'm taking you to the doctors and I'm not taking no for an answer so don’t even bother.” Stupid daddy Li won’t just let me wait out the stupid virus, he believes that there is something else wrong if I'm not pregnant. “Pee in this cup, when I rang up the doctor he said to bring in a sample.” I scrunched my nose up. “Get over it your seventeen not ten” Oops I made him made. I snatched the cup out of his hands and poked my tongue out at him.
“If the doctor says that I am perfectly healthy that it just a common bug I won’t be very happy.”
“I'm taking you for your on safety, now hurry up because we leave in five minutes.” I stop in my tracks.
“I don’t even need to pee yet dad. We have to reschedule, bad luck maybe next time?” I started to walk fast without getting caught but it never happens when you really want it too, look at me not being pregnant for instance.
“Stop right now!” I turn around with an innocent smile on my face. “You know very well that if you drink pure lemon juice it makes you pee a minute later.” Only I have that bad of luck, we don’t know why if I drink pure lemon juice I have to go pee, daddy Lou thinks I'm weird. He hands me a quarter of a glass of lemon juice and I skull it down and hand him the glass back. “5, 4, 3, 2, 1…..” I ran off with the plastic peeing cup in hand and went straight for the bathroom, stupid lemon juice.
“Spencer Tomlinson-Payne?” Doctor Harris called out my name, I stood up dad Li following behind me. We sat in the two seats that are located next to his desk in him own private room three doors down from the waiting room. “What seems to be the main problem spencer?”
“Every now and then I just throw up everything I have eaten that day.” He wrote something on his computer screen.
“Now Liam here tells me you slept with another man?” I widen my eyes and look at dad.
“I'm sorry but that is private information Doctor.” Dad gave me a look that would kill me if it could. “Yes I did but I took about five tests and they all come back negative so you can cross that out.”
“Did your dads ever tell you that they never took a pregnancy test?” I shook my head no. “So there is a possible chance that with a male pregnancy it doesn't show up on a regular test, you may need the internal test that will only take a short amount of time.” I wrinkled my nose up in thought.
“What's wrong with a normal ultrasound?” He sighed.
“My ultrasound machine got taken for repairs last night and won’t be back for another week or so and I am not permitted to use the other machines but I do have the internal test.” He didn’t sound too pleased about it.
“I will just wait a week or so then. Thanks for your time.” I stood up but got pulled back down not even a second later. “How does it work then?” I sighed. He told be all about the stupid test and its an understatement to say I wasn’t very happy. “YOU MEAN THAT HUGE POLE HAS TO GO IN ME? NO WAY IN HELL!”
“Spencer your dad had to go through it so you do too now get over it.” Dad Li was trying to make me take the damn pole but I won’t budge.
“You mean that dad had one in him…EWW I'm scarred for life” I cried out. I got whacked on the back of my head and not lightly either.
“It isn’t as bad as you think if you are stretched-“ Dad slapped his hands over his ears and started mumbling.
“Oh god, oh god I'm scarred for life.” I chuckled then whacked him over the head like he did me. “You are taking the test and I am going to the waiting room. Thanks doctor.” So he is nice to him.
“Change into this gown and I will be back as soon as you’re done.” He gave me a smile, I just looked at him. It looks like I really don’t have a choice. I changed into the gown fully naked underneath it. True to his word not even a minute after I was changed he came back in with I tube the size of Jamaica. I signalled for me to lay down on the bed with my feet flat on the bed. It was really awkward to be like this in front of another man that wasn’t Jeremy. “This will feel really cold and funny because its not the same texture as other things that you put up there.” I reddened to the max and just at that point a felt a large jab of pain. Jeremy usually preps me first.
“YOU COULD OF GIVEN ME A BETTER WARNING” I cried out. He waited a minute before shoving it until he reached a certain point. Tears leaked out of my eyes because of the pain. There goes my weekend at Jeremy’s.
“Spencer look at the screen so I can show you around your insides.” I looked at him funny, doctors usually use long names that the patients never understand. “This here is the part that carries the baby and this here is the baby.” I didn’t say a single word I just sat there silent tears running down my cheeks while staring at the screen that had a picture of my baby on it. “Do you want a few pictures to take home?”
“Four please.” One for me, one for Jeremy, one for my dad’s and one for Tilly when I tell her that she is going to be an aunt. He clicked a few buttons on the touch screen and then I heard the printer on the other side of the room start to print.
“congratz” I smiled at him.
“Thank you”
