Sorry it took so long, but I hope this makes up for it. I was going through a minor writer's block so I'm sorry for making you wait so long. I couldn't figure out how to do this chapter so I hope you like it.
Chapter Eleven: Festival
Ricky and I were in the backseat of Connie's car while Connie was driving with Jake, the beach guy, in the passenger seat. They were a couple now, I think.
Connie pulled up to the guy and handed her the money to get into the parking lot so we could park. Once Connie found a parking place which was miles away from the entrance. Ricky paid for me a bracelet so we could ride endlessly. As soon a we entered the park, we all split up going to do things we wanted to do.
Ricky dragged me over to some ride that went upside down or whatever. I'm glad I hadn't eaten anything since twelve o'clock or it would be coming up right about now.
"Hey," I heard someone say behind us. I turned around to see Amberly standing there. "Didn't expect to see you here."
"Not really because I put on Facebook that I was going to the festival tonight and you said that you were coming tonight, too," I said.
"Oh, yeah I remember that now," she said.
"Next two," the operator of the ride said pointing at me and Ricky.
"I'll see you later," she said as we walked up to the ride.
"Why are you so rude to her?" Ricky asked.
"I'm not rude," I said. "The day we met she practically grilled me about us being a couple then told me that she was glad because she likes you. She's obsessed with you."
"What girl isn't?" he said cockily.
"No, I mean stalker material obsessed," I said.
"It doesn't matter," he said.
"Why exactly doesn't it matter?" I asked.
"Because I have you and that's enough," he said.
"It better be," I said leaning over giving him a kiss. I noticed that Amberly had seen me do it and I saw her face flame red with anger. "I've made her angry."
"Stop worrying about her," he said.
"I'm not worried," I said, "I just don't want to get on anybody's bad side."
"I bet she'll understand," he said, "now shut up and have a good time."
I was cut off by a sudden jerk and the ride began. The Hot Shot was the name of the ride or something like that. That ride that brings you up slowly and then just drops you.
We got to the top and me being stupid decided to look down. I'm not scared of heights, but being this high in the air is a little freaky.
I didn't have time to stop myself from screaming when it dropped us back down to the ground. Ricky just laughed at me as we went down. I wanted to hit him right about now. When we got off, Ricky kept picking on me about my scream. He kept saying that it was cute.
"What should we ride now?" I said.
"I would say the pirate ship over there," he said.
"That sounds cool Ricky but can I talk to Kat," Amberly said coming up behind us.
"I'll meet you by the pirate ship," I said.
"Okay," he said then left me alone with Amberly.
As soon as he was out of earshot, she said, "What the hell?"

I stepped out the bathroom in nothing but a t-shirt when I ran into someone. I didn't even check to see who it was as I let out a scream. "What are you doing here?" he asked. "What am I doing here? Why are you in my house?" "This is my house," he sa...
