Chapter 3 : Names and Cuddles

" Sure I wanted to kill you, huh." N said, in a sarcastic tone, while applying ice to my foot.

I was sitting on N's bed, where he was sitting down, cleaning up my left foot. 3 pieces of glass had managed to pierce through my skin and I had been yelping for the last 20 minutes while he tried to pull out the glass, and when the final glass piece was out, i'm sure his neighbors thought he was giving it to me, real good.

" AH N, SLOW!"

" N?"

" Oh right, sorry, forgot to use my super power of getting to know names."

" Niall." he looked up at me straight in the eyes and smiled a little.

So it did start with a N.

" Luna." i said smiling at him.

" Nice name." he said and winked.

" Thanks." and at the same time I blushed.

He stopped applying ice to my foot, opened the first aid box next to him and bandaged up my leg.

"Niall" I whispered just to hear it roll of my tongue.

" Yeah, Luna?" He whispered back, standing up and looking at me.

" Uh, nothing."

He raised his eyebrow up and gave me a confused look.

" Thank you." I said smiling genuinely.

" Won't I get a little something?" he said pouting, looking absolutely adorable.

I asked him to bend down a little and when he did, i pecked his cheek and whispered a thank you. But apparently, that wasn't enough. He turned his face towards mine and held my cheeks, he brushed his surprisingly very soft fingers on my lips, and came closer, looking straight into my eyes. Just as he was about to kiss me, his leg managed to step on my injured foot, and i jerked in front, causing our lips to crash anyway.

" Ouch!" Niall yelled.

"AHHHH" I yelled.

" So I don't think we'll be doing much around here, tonight."

" Uh, I don't think so."

And we let out a little laugh at that.

" So then, I guess, I should leave now."

" Why?"

What does he mean why?

" Because we can't really do anything?"

" And you can't walk. So you aren't going anywhere."

I didn't know how much I wanted to stay here, until he said that. I knew the moment I walked out of this place I would feel like a mess again, and start thinking about Justin. And I didn't want that. It was nice with this guy. I probably won't meet him again. But i'm less stressed around him about the whole situation, so that's good.

" Are you sure?"

" Yeah! We could do so many things!"

I gave him a confused look. " Like?"

" Lie down!"

"What?"

" Lie down!"

" Um okay?"

I listened to his instruction and laid down on the bed, being careful of my foot. His bed was very comfortable. The perfect amount of soft and fluffy.

" And now..?"

Niall got onto the right side of the bed and came really close to my face.

He kept his left arm above my head and turned his body towards me. He suddenly stopped and got up, pulled up the blanket onto both of us and then got back into the same position, except, this time he put his right arm on my waist and pulled me closer to him.

" Is your leg hurting this way?"

" No."

" Good."

His face was even more beautiful up close. His eyes were sea blue. I assumed they were green, but they were a very beautiful shade of blue. They went well with the color of his pale-pinkish skin. He had tiny freckles all around his face, which were very attractive. His beard was almost non existent, but there was definitely a little growth. His lips were soft, I could say for sure after that little 'crash', and they were slightly pouty, but not too much.

" Thanks." I said.

" You're pretty."

He is random.

" Uh thanks."

I am pretty boring looking. My brown eyes, black hair, and a dusky skin tone don't make me all that interesting, or so i always felt since when I was a teen. My hair were wavy, and looked light brown in the sunlight, which was something I liked, but otherwise they were plain old black. And with my 'tired' radiating off my face, I don't think it was making me look any better.

"Wait. Are you a minor?!"

I could see the worry on his face, which made me laugh a little.

"22"

The relief on his face was priceless.

" Oh good, 23."

I guessed as much.

He kissed my forehead and we laid there in a comfortable silence.
