I wish I could tell you

Exactly how I feel.

I wish I could tell you

Not to be afraid.

I wish I could hold you

I my arms all night.

I wish I could trust you with all this

And know you trusted me.

I wish I knew for

How you felt,

How you feel.

I don't believe I'm asking for a lot.

But maybe you just aren't

Willing to give anything to me.

It feels one-sided a lot of the time.

And I do deserve more.

I do need some romance.

I want to be the girl.

You need to come out of your cave

And step into my world for a change.
