Hey I know it's been awhile since I've written this and I'm sure y'all were salty as shit when I left y'all with that cliffhanger; Well you no longer have to wait ;p
I never thought something like this would happen; Tomorrow after school, I was gonna tutor Swae. Of course I played it cool in front of him and Mr. Parrot, but as soon as I left my ass was geekin' like shit! Monica thought I was on crack when I came on the bus cheesing and acting wild. As soon as I told her, she was just as excited as me.
"Girl, you better get them digits!" I remember her telling me. And trust me, I'm gonna do exactly that! After I came home, I was greeted by my mom who was in the kitchen cooking dinner.
"Hey sweetie," she smiled giving me a hug, "how was school?" As soon as she asked that, I started smiling. "What?" she asked raising her eyebrow.
"Nothing," I replied making my way to the refrigerator, "today was just a good day." Rolling her eyes playfully, my mom continued to make dinner. Grabbing a soda, I made my way up to my room sighing dramatically as I closed my door.
A few hours later after I finished my homework and ate dinner with my mom, I went through my closet looking for something to wear for tomorrow. Finding the perfect outfit, I hung it on my closet door heading towards the bathroom to take a shower. Once I was done I slipped on my pajamas climbing into bed setting my alarm clock twenty minutes earlier than my regular time. The thought of seeing him tomorrow made me feel content and fall into a deep sleep.
~The Next Morning~
BEEP, BEEP, BEEP-
Sitting up I rubbed the tired out of my eyes quickly remembering what was to come today. I happily jumped outta bed making my way towards the bathroom to handle my hygiene to start off. About thirty-five minutes later, I walked back to my room to change which consisted of plaid leggings with a loose, long-sleeved white sweater and white converses. Styling my hair in wavy curls, I placed on my jacket grabbing my bag heading outside to the bus stop.
"What up girl," Monica smiled giving me a dap, "you ready for today?"
"I'm more than ready!" I said excitedly. "I was sure to go to bed and wake up early so I can prepare for this shit." We laughed and continued to talk about this till we got to school. As soon as the bus arrived, we rushed to class since we arrived late. Before we parted ways, Monica told me I should come up with some type of flirty pickup line to get his number.
"It needs to be smooth and sexy at the same time, you know what I'm sayin'?" she told me as we walked to history.
"How should I say it though?" I asked looking at her for a response. She thought about it for a minute, "Give him a compliment while saying it- shit I don't know, but I think it will come to you when it happens." I nodded in response. Man I hope this goes well.
The end of the day came by so fast, it took me awhile to realize the last bell of the day rang. And as soon as it did, my heart started to beat so hard it felt like it would jump out of my chest. I don't know why I was so nervous, my happy ass couldn't help but think about what was going to happen, but now I'm scared as fuck! Before I left to the library, Monica told me that I had this and not to be nervous; it helped. A little. Settling down, I pulled out my active physics textbook and my binder with my notes inside. Letting out a deep sigh, I waited patiently for Swae to meet up with me at the library.
"Ugh where is he?" I asked myself turning my head for the billionth time to see if he was coming in. And every time it was either a teacher printing out papers or some loud dumbass kids who have no where else to go. What if he bailed on me? I thought to myself. He knew we were meeting up in the library, so why isn't here? Lowering my head, I packed up my books and dragged myself out the doors. Kicking a crumbled piece of paper on the floor, I couldn't help but feel both sad and angry mixed with frustration. How could he do that to me, I didn't have to tutor him, I could have rejected the offer if I wanted; But of course my naïve behind thought it would be a good opportunity to get to know him better and for him to get to know me. I guess not.
Suddenly I heard a voice call my name. "Clarice! Wait up!" Turning around, the butterflies in my stomach fluttered as I saw Swae running down the hall.
"Damn you walk fast," he chuckled out of breath once he caught up with me, "what's wrong?" Nigga. Forreal?
"What took you so long?" I asked looking up at him crossing my arms. "I waited for you for almost twenty minutes, making me think you skipped out on me."
"My bad, boo," he smiled; he said it again! "Coach had us practicing and I lost track of time." He turned my chin to him, "You mad at me?" he asked pouting his bottom lip. I wanna bite that lip so fucking bad; I know I'm thirsty, sue me!
"No, I'm not mad," I giggled feeling my cheeks become warm, "come on let's get started."
