Chapter Twenty-Nine

I brushed my hair up in a bun, I made it home from the UK last night, Jason stayed a day longer to spend time with Brooklyn which I wasn't mad I was just so happy with Jason overall that he's making a effort to change and do better

I grabbed my phone and I went upstairs and I knocked on my mom's door before speaking "Mom I'm going out, I'll be bringing dinner back.." I said before walking downstairs

Jason also gave me my car back so I wasn't carless anymore

I got in my car and I drove over to Kenzie's condo and I knocked on her door, she opened the door

"Wassup girl?" Her beats hung around her neck

I walked inside and I sat on her sofa

"You were working out I see.."

Kenzie laughed and nodded "Yeah I did a little something something.." she replied plopping across from me

"So how's Ethan doing?"

Kenzie smiled "He's doing just fine actually and I told him about the pregnancy scare.."

I smiled "And?"

"He was actually cool with it surprisingly, he kinda wanted me to be pregnant but he did agree that we'd wait awhile for a baby.."

I nodded "But he does want to take me to a nice vacation spot though.."

I smiled "You should go vacation is relaxing.."

She nodded "Yeah I am but he's planning the whole thing so we'll see about that.."

I smiled and nodded at her

"So what about you? I know you and Jason snuck off to the UK.."

I laughed "It was fun actually, I actually met his family while we were down there his family are cool people but we couldn't do much because he had soccer season going on.."

Kenzie gasped "You met his family? You must got some bomb nookie.." I gasped shaking my head

"Stop.." I said laughing, "But the day before I left after his game, he took me out to dinner and we talked about a lot of things.."

"Y'all did dinner and chill?"

Laughing again I shook my head "Actually no, we just walked around after dinner and we went back to the hotel and watched movies, we didn't sleep together the whole time we were down there.."

Kenzie nodded "That's great, when is he supposed to be coming back?"

"Tomorrow supposedly.."

Sitting criss cross on the sofa I sighed "You know Jason's a sweetheart you know?"

Kenzie chuckled a bit, "How? He's so.. I don't even know the word"

"Because you don't know him like I know him, underneath all of that interior he's a genuine sweetheart, bossy as hell but a sweetheart" I said smiling at him

"Aw you're whipped already girl I can tell.." My smile slightly faded

If I knew Jason felt the same way about me things would be halfway there and I'd probably be halfway sane

I picked up my phone resting my head on the sofa, I checked my messages before putting my phone down

"You know Jacob is expecting a baby with that Rebecca girl? She was blabbing about it at the bar last night.."

I shook my head "She's dumb, she doesn't even know the half of Jacob, nobody really knows who he is.."

Kenzie chuckled a little "The dude Is off his damn rocker I'll tell you that much.."
