Chapter One

Sans pov:

I walked to work, smoking a cigarette, and listening to The Hanging Tree covered by Tyler Ward & Alyson Stoner. lost in the lyrics, I walked into Starbucks--my morning job-- and bumped into a customer. I apologized quickly, He apparently wasn't one of those people that welcomed monsters with open arms, but he just huffed and glared. I ignored his rudeness and walked behind the counter.

Frisk and Torial came in for their usual breakfast. Frisk rushed up to the counter, Torial following behind them. I smiled at the two warmly "Hello Sans." Torial greeted me in her usual formal manner. "Hey, sans!" Frisk shouted happily. Today is both their first day at the public school down the road, Frisk was probably excited to make some new friends and Tori was finally becoming a teacher just like she wanted.

 "Hey, Tori. Sup kiddo?" I greeted both, ruffling Frisks hair. "Sans! I'm going to school!" Frisk shouted, again, happily. "yup, but don't be surprised if your geometry class is tired. They all might be out of shape." I said giving them a big smile, both Frisk and Tori giggled at my joke. "So what can I get you two?" I asked "I'll have the slow roasted ham & Swiss please" Frisk ordered giving me a cute smile. "Just the dark roast, thank you, Sans," Tori said. I totaled their purchase and made it --because everyone here is an asshole and spits in monsters orders--, "bone-appétite" I added with a wink. Frisk ate their sandwich quickly, while Torial giggled and took her time sipping her coffee.

  Apparently the guy I had bumped into wasn't a customer. He ended up being the new employee. The worst part is I ended up as the one training him. At least, he starts tomorrow. So other then that my morning went by quick thankfully. Frisk and Tori left for school. I got to go home for a few hours and slack off.

  "HELLO DEAR BROTHER!!! I HAVE MISSED YOU!" Pap greeted me with a full plate of spaghetti in hand and a huge smile, as always. I smiled "hey papyrus, how you doin'?" I asked. "I AM BRILLIANT, THANK YOU FOR ASKING!!" he answered, "I MADE SPAGHETTI, WILL YOU TRY IT DEAR BROTHER, PLEASE?!!?" Pap asked with a cute face that I couldn't bring myself to say no to. So I took the plate he handed to me, and sat down on the couch. It actually tasted pretty good. Torial really saved everyone by giving both Undyne and Papyrus cooking lessons. Everyone was in high spirits today, it improved my mood to see my friends happy. I just hoped this lasted...

God, I hope this doesn't get fucked up...
