Arisa pov:

My jaw was clenched tightly to hold in sounds in pain as Izumi san lifted my shirt to see the dark blue bruise on my stomach. She gasped and so did Edward and Alphonse.

"Arisa, what happened to you? How did you get such a terrible bruise?" she asked whilst removing my gun and placing it on the table besides the couch I was lying on.

I did not answer for I couldn't. I was biting my lip hard, my eyes still closed from the pain that affected nearly my entire body starting from my torso. Well, the immense pain was expected since it was Greed who had punched me.

"Ed, go get some painkiller cream and medicine from the kitchen. Al, get some hot water, a clean towel and some sprain gauze," Izumi san snapped and Edward and Alphonse scurried out of the living room after a word of acknowledgement.

My right arm found its place over my eyes that remained closed while I continued to take deep breaths to tolerate the throbbing pain. A gentle caress to my head had me moving my arm away to meet Izumi san's eyes. She was worried about me, the expression was clear on her face. It was heartwarming to see that there were more and more people who had come to care for me – Oba-san, Keith, Hughes san and his family, Edward and Alphonse, and now Izumi san.

"Arisa, please tell us what happened," she pleaded. A sigh left my lips, knowing that I had to tell her something...the partial truth if not all of it.

She helped me sit up, propping pillows behind my back so I was comfortable. Edward and Alphonse soon returned with all she had asked them to bring, or more rather, since it seems they didn't know exactly what medicines to bring. Regarding them with a smile, I then answered Izumi san's pleading request.

"While I was taking a walk through the forest yesterday, I ran into a homunculus."

"A homunculus?" Izumi san repeated, narrowing her eyes. I mentally cringed but continued.

"Yes, he introduced himself as Greed. He knocked me out and took me somewhere, some underground warehouse of sorts, I think. When I woke up, he wanted me to make him immortal using alchemy. I refused to help him so I was rewarded with this." I waved to the bruise on my stomach dramatically.

Izumi san had forced me take off my shirt so now I was sitting only with my black chest wrap. Edward and Alphonse were blushing profusely, looking anywhere else besides me, but they didn't want to leave the room because I was talking about a homunculus and a possible threat to alchemists. From the way they seemed so interested about it, I had a feeling they knew about homunculi too.

Their fluster didn't bother me though because it wasn't anything I found embarrassing, unlike how it was when Gracia san had stripped me completely to help me take a bath.

I spoke nothing of Envy or Dante but said every single detail of what happened with Greed since he didn't seem associated with Envy or the other homunculi. After all, Envy did mention that Greed had been sealed away and had attacked him along with Lust and Gluttony. How or why he had been sealed and how he had broken out of the seal was unimportant to me so I didn't bother with those details. Though, I could ask Envy about it merely to quench my curiosity the next time I saw him.

My body tensed when my heart picked up speed suddenly. Woah, I just thought about Envy and my body got weird again. What in heaven's name was wrong with me?

"I'm sorry, Arisa! Did that hurt?" Izumi san asked in worry.

My smile was halfhearted as I answered, "No, I'm fine. Thank you for helping me, Izumi san."
