What can you do to help?

Are you a writer?

-Write a short story where one or many people have a disability, whether mental or physical and tag it #visible

-Write a poem about your, or others, struggle with mental health or physical limitations.

-Enter the competitions, you could win some great prizes as well as exposure to over a thousand Wattpad users.

-Write an article for the visible book! Get your work shared to over a thousand readers, and help the visible campaign reach new people. You could write about-

+How you think literature (Wattpad included) could adapt to aid people who might otherwise struggle to read a physical or online book?

+How can people's thoughts on mental health be changed by books?

+How can we, as a community here on Wattpad, help those who feel isolated and left out because there are no characters like them in books?

Do you have a disability or illness?

Write an article about your condition to help other writers be able to portray a character with it more accurately.

Write an article about a piece of technology or equipment that has helped you write or read better.

They only need to be around 400/ 500 words if that is all you can manage!

Are you a reader?

With the #visible in the tags in books on Wattpad, you can easily and actively find them out, read and support them- whether you search for them yourself or go to one of our many reading lists!

The more people who read and vote on the #visible works, the more people will see them! Help us grow our community, and help the writers feel supported.

Read the competition entries and pick your favourite! We here at visible want to know what YOU like to read!

Comment, leave me a message, send me a link- let us know about your favourite diverse authors here on Wattpad, let us help them get the attention they deserve!
