Spirit Animals:4 MEETING

This still didn't make sense,thought Reese. Why had all this happen to me. I know that I'm a princess in all but, nothing like this had ever happen before, let alone being prepared for it.
The journey wasn't too long, She guessed. They still traveled to a different land though. Maybe from all that thinking and wondering distracted Reese from the trip.
They arrived at a tall building. It seemed welcoming to Reese, like she belonged.
Lenori said," I'm taking you here to meet the Fallen Four."
Reese didn't know what to say. She'd heard about the Fallen Four with Essix, Briggan, Uraza, and Jhi, but was she ready to meet them? She also thought about what would their human partners look like? All of these things racing in her mind not knowing what how to reply.
"Thank you", she said, "Thank you for this whole experience. I'm ready to see the Fallen Four".
They walked through the tower, which Reese later learned is named the Sunset Tower. It was quiet and nothing like what she would see in Eura.
As they began to arrive at two tall, green doors, Reese suddenly felt the need to bring Lazarus out of passive state. It wasn't long until they were able to accomplish the passive state. They already trusted each other more than most.
Lenori politely suggested that she should stay outside, just so nothing was going wrong.
She nodded to her and she walked in closing the doors behind her.
She turned to Lazarus, who was standing behind her. "I'm a little nervous, but also excited.", Reese began, stoking his muzzle,"I never thought that I'd be able to meet the Fallen Four! The thing is... I don't know if I'm ready. I mean I'm one of those people that like people to think of me for who I am not for my bloodline. Another thing is I don't want to embarrass myself in front of them, especially Conor. Will you help me if I'm in trouble?"
Lazarus snorted in agreement. It felt good for someone to have her back. She just stood there stroking and petting him while she waited for Lenori's return.
Suddenly, the doors opened. She stepped inside and stood about ten yards away from the Fallen Four and their partners.
To her surprise Reese also saw what seemed, like off to her left, a Niloan girl, a white tiger, and a twin tiger, but it was black with white strips on it's coat?
The whole room was silent until the Zhongese girl with Jhi said furiously,"and who is she?!"
Reese was worried that she would embarrass herself, but not even after two minutes she felt that her wish already seemed impossible.
She guessed her conversation with Lazarus was a smart idea because not a moment later he emerged from behind her and stood next to her to prove their importance.
Lenori quickly exclaimed,"This is Reese and her horse,Lazarus. Just like Alyssa, she's also here to help you all find our next target."
As Lenori spoke these words a sigh of relief came to Reese. She had seen the girl's expression on her face disappear.
"Why don't you all introduce yourselves to Alyssa and Reese?", She suggested.
"Fine", Meilin said in an unfriendly voice,"I'm Meilin and this is Jhi",she said releasing the panda from her passive state.
"I'm Rollan", the amayan boy said," that's Essix",pointing to the falcon who quickly swooped down to land on Rollan's shoulder.
"Hello, I'm Abeke and this is Uraza", the other girl said. To Reese she sorta thought she looked a little similar to Alyssa. Her leopard was looking strait at Alyssa's twin tigers.
Randomly the wolf, next to Conor, got up and trotted towards Reese. He sat in front of her. Lazarus didn't like the actions of the wolf; he whinnied loudly as a warning to the wolf. It just stayed and stared at her. She held out her hand and gently petted him on the head.
"Sorry about that.", Conor said shyly, " he's never done that before. I'm Conor and that's Briggan." He slowly started to walk towards them.
As he got closer, he soon realized why Briggan had came to her.
"Reese? Princess Reese?", he exclaimed.
"Yes", she said sorta blushing. This is exactly what she didn't want to happen.
"Princess?", Meilin questioned,"You're a princess?"
"Yes", replied Reese. Now all eyes were on her and Conor.
"where are you from?", Meilin asked.
"I'm from Eura", she answered.
"No way! Conor's from Eura as well!", this time it wasn't Meilin who asked. This time it was Rollan who spoke. Loudly.
Reese looked up at Conor, who sequenced his eyes shut and tensed up acting like he didn't want that to be said by anyone.
She didn't want to say she knew Conor in fear of embarrassing him of his past job as her cousin's servant, so she just acted like she never had seen him before.
"Oh really! It's nice to know someone who's from the same place as you", she said unsurely.
Reese quickly looked at him and nodded letting him know that his secret is safe. He smiled in return.
Alyssa and Abeke had been having their own conversation and weren't noticed until Alyssa spoke.
"I'm also from Eura.",she said looking at Conor and Reese then to Meilin and Rollan. They were stunned. Most of the group thought she was from Nilo like Abeke, but they were surprised to find out she was from Eura.
"I thought you were from Nilo?", Rollan said.
"Well, my grandmother was born in Nilo, but soon moved to Eura", she replied.
"Oh, okay", he said.
"Wait!", shouted Meilin," you still haven't detailedly explained why these two are here."
"My bad, Meilin, Lenori said.
"This is Reese", she moved her hand gesturing to Reese," and her horse, Lazarus. You might not know, but we are still on the look for the other Great Beasts' talismans. Lazarus was once a Great Beast", she told them the story of how Lazarus's vision had predicted the feature and that he was hear to help with the oncoming Great Beasts.
Watching their expressions during the story was a little amusing to Reese. She guessed she looked the same way with that unbelievable look.
When she finished the story, she then turned to Alyssa,"This is Alyssa and her twin tigers, Majesty and Royalty". Lenori walked up to Alyssa and Abeke along with their big cats.she continued," Alyssa has summoned the twin tigers from Lazarus's prophecy. They are also hear to help you on your next quest for the next talismans and of it's Great Beasts'.
Everyone was quiet. Mostly surprised to hear the two stories and why the importance of their "surprise" was hear.
"So we are questing for another talisman?, Abeke asked.
"Yes. This time you will go alone. I or the other greencloacks can not assist you on this journey, but you will be equated by Reese and Alyssa", Lenori answered.
Reese guessed Conor was in shock from the stories because he hadn't said anything in a while.
"So which Great Beasts' talisman are we looking for?", Rollan questioned.
"You will be seeking Ninani, the swan, for her talisman. Ninani's nectar was a lovely gift, but her talisman is even greater", She replied with a smile.
This was just crazy! Reese had summoned Lazarus, the Prophecy Horse, just left her home, met the Fallen Four and the Twin Tigers, and now she was on a quest with Conor and the others seeking the talisman of Ninani all in less than a week!
Once again she wondered why it was her who got all this wonderful experience. She decided to put that aside because tomorrow she'd train and seek for the marble swan, Ninani's talisman with the Fallen Four and maybe seek for the undiscovered talismans of the other Great Beasts.
