His Broken Vow

Prologue

"I'm sorry but the feelings just faded as time passed by. I didn't expect this to happen, Lia. I loved you. I really did. But that feeling changed." he said as he held my hands.

'I vow to love you until my last breath. I vow to take care of you and our future children. I vow to do everything to make you happy. I vow to never leave you. I vow that you're the only girl that I'll love.'

My tears fell in an instant when I remembered his vow and how he looked at me with love as he said those words.

"I-I'm s-sorry. Please wag ka ng umiyak." then I felt him hugged me. I didn't hugged him back dahil wala akong lakas para yakapin siya.

"Umiiyak ako kasi nasasaktan ako. B-bakit? Ano ba ang nagawa ko?" tanong ko habang umiiyak.

"I don't know. I just woke up one day that my feelings for you has changed. I'm sorry." sabi ito at pinakawalan ako.

"I just want to tell you that I already processed the annullment papers. Please do sign it. I can't do this anymore." nahihirapang saad nito.

I can't help it. Napaluhod nalang ako sa narinig ko. Iyak lang ako ng iyak.

Ang sakit sakit.

"Lia. Don't do this please." tanga na kung tanga pero di ko siya kayang pakawalan. I shook my head sideways.

"Ayoko. Ayokong umalis ka. Ayokong hiwalayan mo ako. Ayokong gawin mo ito. Please. Ako ang nagmamakaawa sa'yo. Please wag mo akong iwan." I said as I hugged his legs habang nakalluhod. Desperada na kung desperada pero di ko siya kayang bitawan.

"Lia." tawag nito sa akin at hinatak ako patayo.

Nakayuko lang ako habang patuloy na tumutulo ang mga luha ko.

"1 week. Bigyan mo ako ng 1 week para makasama ka Gio." I looked at him with pleading eyes while he looked at me na tila isa akog baliw.

"I'm sorry pe----" di ko siya pinatapos.

"1 week tapos aalis ako. Hinding-hindi mo na ako makikita." sabi ko. He looked frustrated but in the end pumayag din siya.

"1 week." he surrendered.
