The pop star and Nickleback frontman, Chad Kroeger, announced their separation after two years of marriage. Lavigne posted a wedding photo on Instagram (A/N: Photo on the side) and said "We are still, and forever will be, the best of friends."
Both Canadian rockers struggled with health issues the past year. Lavigne, 30, fought with Lyme disease and Nickleback canceled their summer tour after Kroeger needed surgery for a cyst in his voice box.
Lavigne's ex-husband Deryck Whibley of Sum 41 remarried last month.
