Chapter 3

"Mum? Are you okay?" I asked her bending figure at the sink.

She didn't turn to face me, she just nodded her head. "Bring Jace and Mark to their rooms please, they're staying overnight."

"Okay," I answered. I knew she wanted personal space and some alone time.

I walked outside, seeing Mark's worried face and Jace's guilty and confused face that hadn't changed since I left the table. "Well, I guess she just needs some time alone. Do you want to go to your rooms?" I asked them.

Mark nodded, "I guess so."

I nodded back and led them towards the guest rooms. One for Mark and one for Jace. "I'll leave you kids here, I got some stuff to do. You guys will be okay alone?"

I nodded, "sure. Why not?"

Jace shrugged a shoulder, "yea course."

Mark nodded and shut his door and it was just Jace and I alone outside. "So... You wanna go to your room?"

"Is there anything left to do?"

"Yes actually. There's a pool, a movie room, a pool place, a party house, and... You know what, I'll just show you around some other day."

He smiled, "okay. I guess I'll go keep my stuff in my room first, then you can show me around. Okay?"

I smiled back, "yea, of course. My room is just across yours."

He nodded and went into his room and so did I. I brushed my teeth, washed my face and changed into my pyjamas, a white shirt and blue cotton shorts and just a pair of flip flops. I sat on my bed and whipped out my phone to text Taylor and Megan, my two best friends.

Cammm💕: Guys, you won't believe who's at my place right now. Like right now.

Taylor replied straight away. It was no surprise because she was always on her phone, texting her boyfriend, Shawn or just scrolling through Instagram. Her parents doted on her just as much as my mum did, and they didn't mind Taylor having a boyfriend. Not that my mum would mind either.

TayTayy😍: Who? Jace Ackerman?😂😂😂

Cammm💕: Yes actually.

TayTayy😍: You're shitting me, Cam. Tell me you're lying. Do you know what you just said?

Cammm💕: Yes I do, Tay. And I'm not lying.

Megggan✨: Jace Ackerman is in who's house?

Cammm💕: Mine.

Megggan✨: W. H. A. T.

TayTayy😍: Exactly.

Cammm💕: Guys I'm not lying! I'll tell you about it tomorrow, you guys can come over if you want.

TayTayy😍: To see the hottest guy ever? OF COURSE!

Megggan✨: Tay, you have a boyfriend whose name is Shawn, and he loves you a lot.

Cammm💕: You can't cheat on him, Tay. I'd kill you myself.

Megggan✨: As will I, I'm with you Cam.

TayTayy😍: I'm not an idiot okay, I'm not gonna break up with Shawn for Jace. Everyone knows he's a player.
