Alexandria placed more bags of Earl Grey on the shelf as the bell rang, signaling the arrival of customers.

"Hello, welcome to-"

"My, you smell wonderful."

Alexandria stiffened as she placed her fingers on her wand and turned around to see two boys staring intently at her. One had electric blue hair with crystal white eyes, a stud piercing in his brow, while the other looked slightly more normal with blonde hair and crystal blue eyes. They were both dressed in black jeans and matching t-shirts with skulls on them. Something told Alexandria it was an ironic statement they were trying to make.

"Can I help you two?" Alexandria said stiffly.

The blue haired one gave a smile that Alexandria could've sworn revealed some pointed teeth. "Don't be so scared love, we only came to observe."

"Observe what?" Alexandria snorted.

The blonde moved with speed too quick for a human, he was beside Alexandria in a second, "observe such a beauty like you."

"We smelled you down the alley," the blue one said as he appeared at Alexandria's side.

"Whatever it is you two want, I suggest you get out of here now. I'm not afraid to fight."

The blue haired slapped her cheek so hard Alexandria had to blink a few times before the spots disappeared. "Have respect for your elders."

"You're older than me?" Alexandria laughed, the two looked seventeen, "that's rich!" She grabbed at their shirt fronts, glancing around for her boss who had gone into the back about twenty minutes ago. "Now, listen to me. I don't want trouble, I just want to get through my shift and out of here in peace. So you two will leave right now. And never return." Alexandria said in a hushed voice as her grip tightened on their shirts.

The blonde smirked at Alexandria's perplexed stare, "You're still a fledgling. We're full blown adults. Don't threaten us, sweetie. We'll tear you apart without even breaking a sweat."

Alexandria backed away quickly, feeling frightened as her back hit a rack of various morning teas, "you're...you're..." she gulped air as the two snorted and walked forward.

"Yes, darling. We are," the blue haired one said. He flashed a smile, his fangs were showing brilliantly as he stepped closer.

"We're vampires," the blonde smirked. "And so are you," he soothed.

Alexandria began to deny it but the two laughed, "we could smell you all the way down the alley. You should work on that," the blue haired one commented.

"There's a simple spell that can help you," the blonde smiled.

"What're you going on about?" Alexandria snapped.

"Imagine really strong perfume, every person has a scent. Vampires especially, when you finally turn you'll notice what we mean. I imagine that you've noticed differences in blood?" the blue haired one drawled in a bored voice.

"What do you want?" Alexandria growled, feeling uneasy as they stood there smirking.

"Right to the point I see," the blue one said with a sigh. "We were sent to observe you."

"Observe me? Why?"

"This world is heading toward some hard times and you're just a baby. With no one to help you. We were ordered to make sure that you don't get yourself into trouble."

"You're an easy target for them as well."

"So what is it you want?" Alexandria questioned, already wishing the two would disappear with every passing second.
