The elevator stopped. We both fell to the ground, but I knew we were nowhere near the bottom.

"Ri, are you okay?" Justin moved my hair out my face. I tried catching my breath, but I kept coughing. Justin pulled me into his chest and stroked my hair. I held on to him. "Baby, everything is going to be alright." He soothed. "I need you to calm down." He rubbed my back.

I closed my eyes. My body wasn't trembling as bad and I could breathe. My chest still hurt.

"Are you okay." I spoke and snuggled into his chest.

"I-I'm claustrophobic." I felt his chest throbbing. I sat up and faced him. He looked shocked. I wiped my face. I sighed, looked to the ceiling and to him. I held his hands.

"Focus on me. Okay?"

"Okay." He obeyed.

"Open your legs."

"What?" He look irritated.

"Do as I say." My voice was still weak.

He obeyed and I sat in between them. I reconnected our hands. I cleared my throat.

"Well, let me tell you a story about a girl and a boy. She fell in love with her best friend."

"When she's around, he feels nothing but joy." Justin jumped in. I smiled and looked at our hands.

"But she was already broken, and it made her blind, but she could never believe that love would ever treat her right." My voice broke, my head fell. I lightly shook my head. Justin disconnected his hand from mine and used it to lift my chin.

"Did you know that I loved you or were you not aware? You're the smile on my face. And ain't going nowhere. I'm here to make you happy, I'm here to see you smile. I've been wanting to tell you this for a long while." Justin captured my lips in his.

"Then why did you cheat on me?" I pulled away.

"I would never cheat on you. Do you know how much you mean to me?"

"I guess not." Tears rolled down my cheek.

"What you just saw wasn't what it looked like."

"Then explain it to me, Justin."

"I was trying to, but you were having an anxiety attack!"

"Don't yell at me. Do you think that's going to help?" I let go of his hand.

"I'm sorry." He shook his head and looked at the wall. "They were blackmailing me."

"Who?" "Scooter and my ex. It started when me and you first got together."

"What? Why didn't you tell me?" I snapped.

"I thought I could get rid of her! He was paying her, that's why she kept chasing me."

"When did you find out?" I asked.

"I just found out! She told me just now! I wanted to know how she got my new number and how she knew I would be here. Scooter did it! He threw her back in my life in hopes I would betray you. That way you would want to quit and leave me. I went to her room to tell her face to face that this shit was over." Justin clenched his jaw. "I'm not being blackmailed like this anymore. I want to be with my girlfriend, Marissa. No one is going to get between us. I worked too hard for you and your trust. I'm not letting you slip away." He continued.

"How could he be so low? I didn't know he hated me so much. I'm sorry. I should have listened to you. I'm so sorry." My voice cracked.

"It's not your fault."

"None of this would of happened if it wasn't for me."

"But I want you here!" Justin said frustrated. The elevator swung a bit. I sighed.

"Why are we going through all of this? Is it really worth it?"

"Yes." Justin answered. I looked into his eyes. They were silently pleading.

"It is." I faintly agreed.

"I want you, baby." He held my hand.

"I want you too..." I started and look down at our hands. "The thought of you cheating on me, hurt so bad." I held my chest. "I'm so attached to you it scares me. I freaked out when I woke up and you weren't there. How can someone who makes me so strong, make me so weak? You mean everything to me, Justin."

I kneeled in front of him so I had the dominant position. He had his hands on my hips. I pecked his lips one last time. His beautiful orbs stared into mine.
