I've just finished a blog post going over the details of my decision at http://www.ericbeaty.com/nanowrimo-2015-official-participant, which will be releasing very soon to the public.
I'm happy to finally be getting back to in your face writing and brand new material. I plan on continuing to edit my "Feelings" novel that's mentioned throughout this Wattpad story as I write new material for the new novel. In fact, I realized this might be the best way to silence my inner critic...appeasing it by letting it edit my previous novel so I can write my upcoming story free of its clutches!
Here's the premise of the new story, for which the working title is Kitty Hero Chronicles:
"A story about a Russian Blue cat named Java (so named after our own cat) who discovers she has super powers and must use them to save her town from an evil lab rat."
Seems a bit far from my normal venture into fiction, I know, but trust me, I've got a lot of ideas for this little project. I hope this will be my first full-length novel I can release right here on Wattpad as I write it!
I'll be using this section of my "How to WIN at NaNoWriMo" story here on Wattpad to update the progress of my writing throughout the month of November, so be sure to check here often to see how things are going for me in #NaNoWriMo 2015!
Until we begin another adventure on November 1st, 2015...
HAPPY WRITING!
The First Week:
Update: November 1st, 2015 FIRST DAY OF NANOWRIMO 2015!
Okay, so for the last two hours on Day 1 of NaNoWriMo 2015, my official word count is 1,746 words! That's 79 words ahead of schedule! Only 48,254 to go! I hope to double the word count for tomorrow, so it's off to bed for now and early to rise tomorrow :)See my official NaNoWriMo 2015 novel stats here:

P.S. Thanks to the YAWordNerds for hosting an awesome write-in today, which you can replay for yourself here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMq8NSa-3Mg
Update: November 2nd
Just finished an awesome write-in tonight with a local NaNoWriMo group called the Cookeville Wrimos and got my word count for the 2nd day in a row for a grand total of 3,419 words so far! Hopefully tomorrow I can get a headstart on some extra words and get ahead of the game for when the downtime comes in the 2nd or 3rd week.
Updates: November 3rd & 4th
Forgot to update on the 3rd, but I did manage to make my word count after spending a long night at the keyboard. For the 4th (today), it's nearly 10 minutes to midnight, and I've just crossed the 7,000 word count mark after today's #NaNoWriMo writing session of just over 2,000 words! Now for some sleep :)
P.S. The novel's coming along great! I'm loving the story, and I hope to upload the first chapter here on Wattpad soon for everyone's input.
Update: November 5th
The writing started off today with a burst of inspiration at yet another Cookeville Wrimos group. I reached 1,007 words before calling it quits and heading home to finish my word count there. It got much harder since I've basically wore myself out today with all the work that had to be done around the house and errands that had to be run, but I just crossed the 9,000 word threshold for a total of 1989 words for the day!
Update: November 6th
This just in: my wordcount is now at 10,681 (1,667 for the day)! The story has picked back up, new characters have been introduced-and appeared out of nowhere (I LOVE it when that happens!), and I'm still trying to find time in between writing it to post the first chapter or two here on Wattpad. Please bear with me. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to get it going for you guys!
