All Souls' Night

And I'll share the first half of my favourite Hallowe'en poem here, too, because it's also 13 words long!

It's called ALL SOUL'S NIGHT, by Frances Cornford (Hallowe'en is derived from 'All Hallows' eve'), and is inspired by the legend that on that night - November 1st - a dead lover will appear to their still-faithful love.

"My love came back to me

Under the November tree

Shelterless and dim."

The poem has another two lines. Go google them if you like this one!
