Jeonghan's POV

I sit onto my bed opening my laptop and starting a Skype call with my friends.

After a few seconds of ringing Boo's face popped onto my screen.

"What do you want I'm eating" Boo said with a mouth full of Ramen

"Rude" I replied and he laughed

"You seem oddly happy today what happened?" Boo said and Jihoon, Jisoo, and Seokmin all popped up on the screen.

"Hello" Jisoo says and Jihoon and Seokmin say also

"Did something happen today with a boy?" Jisoo asks referring to what Boo said about me being happy

"No"

I then began thinking about this guy in my class that I had a small crush on but it wasn't massive. I simply think he'd be a great friend I oddly don't see us as anything more. His name is Mingyu and he's quiet popular, he's on the school undefeated basketball team. Which I hated because most of them where rude playboys. But Mingyu was sorta different, like he actually cared about school and his grades unlike his other team mates.

"JEONGHAN" Boo screeched which snapped me out of my thoughts about the boy

"Huh?" I said turning my attention to my screen

"I asked if you got started on research for our project" He said and I mentally cursed myself because I had forgotten all about it

"Yeah of course" I lie and Jisoo snickers knowingly

"Liar!" Boo says his mouth full of ramen and I laugh

"Okay I'm lying I'll get started soon though" I say and he nods

"Good" He says washing his plate that he was now finished with

"Jisoo what are you doing?" Jihoon asked our very distracted gentlemen

"Homework" Jisoo says focused on his work

"Ew" Seokmin says and Boo giggles getting onto his bed.

"Jeonghan your parents aren't home right?" Jisoo asks dropping his pencil

"Nope they'll be in New York all weekend"

"Ahhh, can we stay over ?"

"Yes" I say and they all cheer

"You could come tonight if you'd like" I say and they all nodded there heads

"Okay I'll get ready, Jihoon you want me to walk to your house to get you on my way?" Seokmin asks and Jihoon nods

"Alright see you guys soon" I said and they waved before hanging up

I walked downstairs to the kitchen and saw an envelope. I grabbed it and read the front of it.

I opened the envelope and pulled out 150 dollars. God damn.

I then pulled out a yellow paper. I opened it up and read it.

"Jeonghan, while your father and I are away please use this money wisely, Love Eomma"

I smiled down at the letter. I took the envelope and walked back up to my room adding the envelope to a pile I had in my drawer.

My parents are always away on business trips so they always left money. My mom always wrote the notes and left them on the table.

I was pushed out of my thoughts when there was knocking at my door.
