Arisa pov:

"Oh my goodness, Colonel, for the last time, calm down! Everything is fine!" I said for the millionth time as Col. Mustang fussed in worry over Edward. Well, he said he wasn't worried and merely yelled at us for letting Scar slip away but his worry was apparent.

"Everything is not fine, Arisa! You let Scar get away! Catching him is one of our top priorities! You had him and you let him slip away!" he yelled at me.

"Well, did you want me to save Edward or catch Scar? I think saving Edward was my first priority at that time," I snapped and he fell silent, his brow twitching as my words sunk in. sighing, glad that he was finally calm, I added, "Since everything here is taken care of, I'm heading home. It's almost midnight and I'm sleepy from the long day. Good luck on catching those serial killers tonight."

With a curt wave and wishes for Edward to get well soon, I left the hospital room. I was soon on the streets, heading home. The tension in my muscles was eased by a much needed stretch, reaching my arms to the sky.

While most of the walk home was quiet and peaceful, I got the feeling that I was being followed when I was two streets away from my apartment complex. Glancing to the side, I noticed a man on the other side of the street. He wore a full suit, a hat and had a thick moustache. He looked to be in his early forties, but he was just like the soldier in Central. The man was hazy and in his place was that guy with long green hair and weird clothes. I pretended to ignore him but when I took a turn to the street where I lived, he followed me.

I was almost certain now that he was following me.

He followed me into my apartment complex and to the second floor. However, he stopped in front of the door of the apartment next to mine. As far as I remembered, a man like him didn't live in the place next to mine and he wasn't even making a move to open his door – which was rather strange.

"So, you moved in recently?" I asked casually, regarding the man with a friendly smile.

"Oh! Yes yes! I moved in just yesterday night!" he said a bit too cheerily for my liking. "I was interested to live in an apartment instead of my own mansion so I decided to try this place out."

"You live in a mansion, huh? That's quite something...although, you don't really look like the type to live in a mansion," I said, unlocking my apartment door. "After all, the green hair and strange black clothes you're wearing and camouflaging by the appearance of in elderly man says otherwise."

The words had barely left my lips when the guy lunged at me. Shoving me into my apartment and locking the door behind us just as quickly, he pinned me to the floor with a tight grip on my neck. His speed had bewildered me – I hadn't even seen him move!

Any attempt to pry his hand off of me was futile. He was strong and nothing I did made him budge in the slightest.

"Well well well! Not only are you quite skillful, but you can sense a Homunculus as well!" he said grinning. Slowly, his appearance changed – with fiery red sparks of alchemy, he was no longer a middle aged man but a teenager would long, spiky green hair, purple eyes with slit-like pupils, and pale skin. He attire was as I had seen on both occasions – a sleeveless crop top, a skort, arm and leg warmers, and a forehead band with a circle-triangle symbol at the center. The wide smirk on his lips was unsettling.
