It was a cold autumn night. It was one of those nights where cole asked you  to go get some cake, and you of course not wanting to let him down, went to get it. But it was freezing. It was only mid- october, and they were calling for snow. Either that, or freezing rain. You made your way to the monestary just in time to see the first flakes fall. And when you made it to the door, guess what? It was locked. Sighing, you went back to your car and set the cake down in the passenger side, walking around to see if cole was in his room. You, being too short to reach up to the monestary window, just listened fir movement. You smiled as you heard the deep voice of cole, but pain hit you as his tone became depressed.

"I dunno know how to make her happy anymore..." you hear him whisper, discovering that he had a talent for guitar, and he started to play.

White lips, pale face
Breathing in snowflakes
Burnt lungs, sour taste
Light's gone, day's end
Struggling to pay rent
Long nights, strange men

And they say
She's in the Class A Team
Stuck in her daydream
Been this way since eighteen
But lately her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries
And they scream
The worst things in life come free to us
'Cause we're just under the upper hand
And go mad for a couple grams
And she don't want to go outside tonight
And in a pipe she flies to the Motherland
Or sells love to another man
It's too cold outside
For angels to fly
Angels to fly

Ripped gloves, raincoat
Tried to swim and stay afloat
Dry house, wet clothes
Loose change, bank notes
Weary-eyed, dry throat
Call girl, no phone

And they say
She's in the Class A Team
Stuck in her daydream
Been this way since eighteen
But lately her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries
And they scream
The worst things in life come free to us
'Cause we're just under the upper hand
And go mad for a couple grams
And she don't want to go outside tonight
And in a pipe she flies to the Motherland
Or sells love to another man
It's too cold outside
For angels to fly
An angel will die
Covered in white
Closed eye
And hoping for a better life
This time, we'll fade out tonight
Straight down the line

And they say
She's in the Class A Team
Stuck in her daydream
Been this way since eighteen
But lately her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries
They scream
The worst things in life come free to us
And we're all under the upper hand
Go mad for a couple grams
And we don't want to go outside tonight
And in a pipe we fly to the Motherland
Or sell love to another man
It's too cold outside
For angels to fly
Angels to fly
To fly, fly

You bit your lip as cole opened the window, glancing down to see you watching him from below. He reached a hand out to pull you up, and you grabbed it, climbing inside his room. You were cold, and a bit wet, and you shivered against coles warm body. He took your coat off, leaving you in just a sweater, and he put you on his bed, staring deep into your e/c eyes. "Are you... Happy?"

"Better than ever... Why?"
"Because... I feel that you dont talk to me anymore, and i dont know how to help you-" you kissed him, leaving him speechless afterwards. "Does one night help you?" cole nodded a little, pulling your sweater off. He threw you an old tshirt, and you slipped it on, smiling as the smell of him wafted your nostrils.  He kissed your forehead, hugging you tightly in his arms.
