"Uncle Moony?" I asked walking into the living room.
"Yes Elizabeth?" He said looking up from his book that he was reading.
"When do you think I'll get to see Harry again?"
"He's starting Hogwarts this year, so you'll see him at school." My hazel eyes lit up.
"Really? Now I'm really excited to go back to school!" I said grinning and sitting down next to my uncle, my red hair falling in my face. He chuckled.
"You look like your mom, yet you have your father's eyes and personality." He said shaking his head. I laughed. I like it when he tells me that. He smiled and ruffled my hair.
"Hey I spent all morning getting it the way I wanted it." I said fixing it.
"Yes, definitely have your father's personality." He said chuckling to himself. He's right, I look exactly like my mother and so every day I look in the mirror, I get sad because I remember the day she and dad died, but I don't let it get me down because I know that they wouldn't want me to be sad about it.
"So did my letter come in yet?"
"It's in there on the kitchen table."
"Yay!" I cheered and hugged him. He hugged me back smiling and let me go. I jumped up off the couch and ran into the kitchen. Oh it's like nine in the morning, so yeah, I'm hyper in the mornings. I ripped the letter open and skipped the bit about being reminded about school rules and went right to the supplies that we would need.
"I've contacted Hagrid and asked him when he's leaving for Diagon Ally with Harry. He's going tomorrow, so I'll take you tomorrow. He said he'll meet up with us at the Leaky Cauldron." Uncle Moony said walking into the kitchen.
"I can't wait!" I said grinning. I was excited that I finally get to see my brother for the first time in eleven years. He smiled. "I'm gonna go write to Fred and George."
"Alright." Then I ran to my room, since we have a one story house, and pulled out some parchment, a quill, and ink. Yeah I know them from last year. I went over to the burrow last Christmas to meet the rest of their family. The only two that I haven't met is Bill and Charlie. Fred and George became my best friends and in that same year, I finally understood what my dad was like when he was in school. Uncle Moony told me he was troublemaker/prankster but I never fully understood just how much trouble he caused until last year. McGonagall let me have it and started ranting on how much I was just like my father, which I was pleased to hear, and then she got all emotional and told me to leave her office and let me off with a warning. I think she really missed my dad even though she called him a troublemaker and so forth. Fred and George however did not get off so easily. I laughed at the thought. They were so mad and they kept asking me how I got out of detention. I lied to them because I didn't want them to know who my father was until Harry got into school.
So they'll know when school starts. I wrote:
How has your holiday been? Mine's been great, but a little boring. I set off some Dungbombs on someone's porch three blocks away from my house. It was great watching their reaction. They were so mad. Come to think of it, they looked like my aunt and uncle from my mom's side of the family. I'll have to ask my uncle later about that. Anyways, my uncle wasn't too happy with me and made me apologize to them but get this. The man was so mad that he didn't even care that I apologized. He yelled for the whole neighborhood to hear and I haven't gone back to that house ever since. I hope your holiday has been more eventful than mine. I wish I could come over and play Quidditch with you guys. Oh, I'm going to Diagon Ally tomorrow, so maybe we'll run into each other there. I guess it would be pointless if you wrote back, so I'll see you whenever!
