C h a p t e r 17

'Well were here! You can go find a table in the back and I'll order some food and tea.'

'Okay, hurry up then!'

'Easy now, I'm not that fast anymore you know!' He gave a smirk back as I walked over to the tables in the back and sat down. Only moments later Dan came back with two cups of tea and some napkins.

'I thought you might need these Laurs.' Dan said while handing me the napkins.

'You're very funny. Shall I go get some for you too? Seeing as you only brought half the stock for me, you might need the other half.' I asked while giving him a glare. He just laughed it off. We sat talking and laughing while waiting for our food. We discussed what we were gonna do today. Apparently Danny wants to take me for a walk around Dublin...

'Come on, eat up Laurs! I paid for it remember ha ha!' Ugh I hate when people do that. Dan had of course ordered a full breakfast. The plate was huge and filled with food, it never came to an end. For me at least. Danny is like a dustbin, takes all he can get.

'I hate when people do that! It makes me feel so bad!' I looked over at him and whined...

'Only joking Laurs. You can leave the rest, I never thought you'd eat it all ha ha!'

'Well then, I'm stuffed.' I sighed while drinking the last of my morning tea.

'Okay, so are we gonna sit here and take another cup of tea while we let the meal sink a bit before going for that walk?'

'Yeah I'll go get the tea.' I stood up from my seat and reached for my wallet.

'Take this, I'm buying.' As I was walking past him he stopped me and gave me money for some tea.

'Nah I'm good, I'll buy this round of tea.' He stared at me and waited for me to take the money.

'Laurs, don't be stubborn, just take it please?'

'Nope, not gonna do it!' I teased while making my way to the line. I heard him sigh in the background as I was ordering the teas. I paid for them and the woman behind the counter quickly made us two cups, I carried them over to our table beaming at Danny who just glared at me.

'Wasn't so bad was it Danny?'

'Uhm yeah it was. I'm supposed to pay this. Guess I just have to get you something special on our shopping trip later then!' He looked at me and beamed.

'Dan, just no. You will not do that.'

'Oh yeah I will, can't stop me!' I gave him an ugly glare and took a sip from my tea eying him meanwhile.

'That glare doesn't suit you, I like yer smile better.' Dan said doing a cheeky grin. When he did that it was impossible not to smile. When you tell people to smile it's the same as telling people to stop laughing, you can't really help it.

'There you go Laurs, never stop doing that!' Once again I smiled. I'm pretty sure I blushed a little as well. As long as Dan didn't notice or say anything I was safe for more teasing.

'So now we're both done, can we go now?'

'Woah Laurs, easy now, we have the whole day!'

'I know that, I just wanna see the city, please?!' I was being really pushy right now, but I wanted to go out and take some pictures. I hadn't taken any yet nor had I seen much of Dublin. Mostly just small streets leading to this little cafe.
