~four months later~
"Khy, come look at baby sissy," I said sitting on the couch when I got home. He was at home with Khalil's mom while I was in the hospital. Khalil and I decided on a water birth there.
"Khy," I called him and he looked up at me, then down at her then continued watching tv. Khalil laughed and I shook my head.
"What's her name?" Kam asked after he ran downstairs. He was getting cleaned up after being in the pool.
"Khaleah Briana Jones," I said and he just smiled.
"Can I hold her?" He asked sitting next to me.
"Sure," I said helping him to hold her. He's nine now but still sweet-when he's not in school.
"How you feeling?" Khalil's mom asked.
"Tired," I said laying my head back on the couch.
"Go on upstairs then," she said.
"I'm fine," I said.
"You see the stubbornness I gotta deal with?" Khalil asked picking me up.
"Shut up, you lucky you get to deal with me," I said and his mom laughed.
"Whatever," he said carrying me upstairs.
"Thanks boo," I kissed him. I went to take a shower and when I came out Khy was sitting up on the bed with one of his stuffed tigers.
"You wanna take a nap with mommy?" I asked after getting dressed and getting into bed. He just laid his head on me. I chuckled and kissed his forehead before drifting off to sleep.
"Hey baby," I kissed Khalil when I went back downstairs. Khy woke up but went right back to sleep. Fine with me, I was tired as hell.
"Beautiful," he looked at me and rubbed my thigh and I smiled.
"Why you looking at me like that?" I asked.
"You popped a baby out three days ago and you acting like it was nothing," he said and I laughed.
"I'm really just a little tired, and you helped a lot," I said.
"I try," he smiled.
"And now...we can focus on the wedding," I said holding onto his arm.
"And we can't have sex for six weeks so you ain't gon have any distractions," I said and he groaned.
"Don't even bring that shit up, that gon be six weeks of hell," he said and I laughed.
"Who's that?" He asked when I got a message on my phone.
"No one," I said. Damien started messaging me a couple days before I went into labour and I didn't tell Khalil 'cause I didn't want him getting into any more trouble.
"It is someone, you been getting messages from that same number for a while now," he said.
"No one to worry about," I said kissing his cheek.
"Imma get her," he said when we heard Leah start to cry. When he left I went to the bathroom and checked my phone.
Him: wya, lemme take u out tonight
Me: Damien stop messaging me
Him: stop acting like u don't want me to, if u didn't u would've blocked me
I didn't even respond, I did just that.
