She went downstairs and into the kitchen where she found a bowl of her favorite cereal waiting. Her parents kissed her head as she ate her cereal while they gorged out on bacon and eggs, pancakes and toast.
She watched between bites wondering how they eat so much and never put on an ounce of fat is almost magical. She was told their wolves' needed the calories or energy to help shift into their beautiful wolf forms.
They all finished at the same time, then they all got into dad's car as they were dropping her off at school, she telling them both that she loved them as they were heading to the pack house, a major pack meeting had been called she was told.
She was dropped off and hugged before her parents took off and they headed to the pack lands. Merry went inside, straight to her locker and exchanged books for her morning classes. Not that she would really need them, they weren't doing anything special with three days left.
Each class that day was boring, if not watching movies, they were sleeping or skipping classes all together. She grabbed a sandwich and drink in the cafeteria before heading outside to eat.
Merry sat on a bench to read in private, ate her sandwich and drank her juice until the commotion started. She tried to ignore it but they were bloody loud. Growls, yelling, screaming and fighting then the bitch slapping started.
Two females, both she-wolves or she-bitches, Merry thinks of them as were fighting over a single male. He stood there and watched probably will choose the strongest and have sex with her. She thought it was disgusting.
The whole thing displayed in front of her, they all knew not one of the females were his true mate, they were all over 16, unmated but they were like rutting pigs these days. He stood there taunting them on, prodding them to fight it out, in the end he will sleep or have sex with both of them, they were just making his choice easier on who would go first. Merry stuffed her book in her bag then collected her trash and walked back into school.
Just before the end of the day, Merry was shockingly called into the principal's office. She gathered her things together and dropped her books off at her locker before heading there.
She walked in and the hairs on the back of her head stood up the closer she got to the door. She shook it off and knocked, it was opened immediately by Principal Warner.
He opened the door wider and said come in Merry. She walked in and to her shock saw Alpha Sinclair standing by the window stiff as if a pole was rammed up his ass.
She took a seat as the Principal indicated and took a deep breath. She look at the Principal and said yes sir, what's going on? Alpha Sinclair growled but Merry ignored him. Principal Warner kept glancing at the angry Alpha then finally cleared his throat and said I have bad news Merry.
She blinked many, many times until she said what bad news sir? He took a breath, then Alpha Sinclair growled and said your parents are dead. She didn't look at him, she continued to watch the Principal's face.
She bit her lip from keeping it from quivering and finally asked what happened? Principal Warner said I honest don't have the answers you seek Merry, Alpha Sinclair knows.
Merry grit her teeth and she turned to the arrogant asshole, she said Alpha Sinclair, would be so kind as to tell me what happened? Or do I need to head to the police station to find out?
The Alpha growled and said all you need to know is they are dead. Merry shook her head, blinked away the tears and said no Alpha, I need to know and if you won't tell me, then I will just go ask at the police station.
He came at her so fast, grabbed her by the throat and had her pinned against the wall in no time. Merry took a deep breath before kicking out with her steel toed boots, getting him right between the legs.
