Alright. I'm telling you right now there's very little chance of you getting a sequel of this. Maybe a prequel to how it all happened in the first place. After that, we'll see where it goes.
This is the sort of story you need to understand from beginning to end, how everything happens. And since that doesn't really happen in this One Shot, a prequel would be in order. Despite us jumping around a bit in time and moments.
I was literally just listening to this song and thinking of stupid stuff when this idea came to me. Gotta love having an overactive imagination lol. So who's ready for an HOUR LONG ONE SHOT TO MAKE UP FOR ME BEING GONE FOR SO FUCKING LONG.
I just needed something to help me get back into the swing of things. Literally, I wrote this to help me get back into writing. There's No Place Else and Turning Tables are in the drafts but Keep Your Feet On The Ground Chapter 6 is closer to completion than either of those two. After that, it's There's No Place Else. More people have been asking for that and I swear it's not over and I never gave up on it. Ever. Just been dealing with a lot of personal shit on my end.
Anyways, enough of that. Hope this makes up for the wait in some way. Enjoy... <3 Love you all, thank you for being insanely patient with my bullshit, rambling and everything else, I hope you all have a Merry Christmas.

-December 2nd 2010. Present Day-
There are so many things in life that have yet to be understood or even acknowledged. Well kept secrets about bright stars we all turn our eyes upwards to admire in the darkest and coldest of nights. Ignorance is bliss and thus all we see is it's sparkle from it's high perch and ignore the potential danger it could pose to life as we know it.
This is where black holes come in. Sucking in everything and anything around it. Ripping it away from existence. What happens after is a mystery but in the eyes of many, it's lost. Gone from our lives. Nothing more than a mere memory in the mind, ink coloring their familiar figure and face on stock paper, ink on an incomplete page in the story of their life.
How do stars and black holes have anything to do with one another?
Well, black holes are dying stars...
That one star you look up to when you're lonely, when you're in the darkest time of your life. Admiring it for comfort and hope. That star giving you peace and serenity could turn on you and pull you into a darkness that no one will ever see or know you again. Grabbing hold of you with no intent of ever letting go. Keeping you in a world of it's design, forever...
These are the thoughts that fascinated and terrified Alicia Gray. A million and one comparisons to the same experience, they never ended. One would start where the other finished. This was merely the one she lost count after managing to keep up until somewhere around eighteen. Was she obsessed? Maybe. Why?
Now that would be telling.
As Alicia walks into her workplace, upon first glance you'd never suspect anything of her. She seems normal, happy, carefree. Content with her life and the life she's lived in her eighteen years alive on this earth. Unlike some, even among her co-workers.
You find yourself around her long enough and you can sense everything is not fine. That's all an act or a mask to protect herself.
From what?
As Alicia walked around the store, keeping things in place and order, going into the back for more product of whatever is needed. She was smiling and joking around with co-workers and friends alike. Nothing alarming. Never really was anything alarming about Alicia's behavior. She just seemed sadder or more damaged than she ever let on.
