My slumber was disturbed by light snores own by Justin. I groaned and flickered my heavy eye lids. There was a knock at the door. I snuck out of bed and answered the door.
"We need to hit the road, I can't find Justin. I was wondering if you knew where he-" Scooter peeked over my short frame and found Justin snuggled in blankets. He looked down at me and tightened his lips. He started tapping his foot.
"What's going on?" He whispered.
"Well, we were sleeping." I shrugged.
"Yes, but why is Justin sleeping in your bed?"
"Scooter, that's none of your business."
"I don't like this." He whispered loudly. I saw Justin stir in his sleep.
"Excuse me?" I narrowed my eyes.
"Justin just started this tour. He doesn't need any distractions."
"That's not your call."
"Just as easily you got this job, it can be taken away from you." He lowly snapped. I was speechless.
His face softened. He looked in Justin's direction.
"Justin, it's time to wake up!" He clapped his hands. I stared at him in disbelief. Justin's eyes opened and he stretched out.
"Get up. We have some interviews and shoots today. Take your phone off silent! I've been calling you for the last 30 minutes! Be ready in 20." Scooter gave me one last intense look and walked out of the room.
Did he just threaten to take my job if I don't stay away from Justin?
"Morning sunshine." Justin broke my train of thought.
"Good morning." I put on a fake smile. Justin rolled out of bed and went to the bathroom.
I sat on my bed and debated if I should tell Justin about Scooter threatening me. A peck on my cheek broke my thoughts.
"I have to go. I'll see you in a few hours." Justin smiled.
"I'll be waiting." I watched as he left my room.
I took a quick shower, brushed my teeth, hair and all that jazz. Haha, reminds me of Scott. I left my hotel room in search of Sammie. I knocked on her door and waited. The door finally creaked open.
"Hi girl." She greeted.
"I have so much to tell you!" I rushed in.
"What's up? How did last night go? Did you tell him?!"
"Me and Justin are together." I bit the inside of my cheek, trying to restrain the cheesy smile that was forming on my face.
"I know right, but bullshit is on it's way already." I warned.
"What do you mean?"
"Scooter found Justin in my bed this morning. He threatened me. If I don't stay away from him, I'm going to be fired."
Sammie's jaw hit the floor.
"He can't do that!"
"I don't know if I should tell Justin or not."
"HELL YEAH! Tell him! Scooter has no business in neither one of your personal lives."
"He said I'm a distraction." I added. Sammie rolled her eyes.
"Don't even worry about him! He said that to scare you. You're not going anywhere. Be with your man. I'm sure that Justin has the last word when it comes to getting fired off the crew. Do you think Justin is letting you go anytime soon? No." Sammie shrugged.
"You're so right."
"I know I am."
"I'm starving. Let's go find something to eat." I declared.
"Let's go, because my stomach is on E!" Sammie snatched up her purse and we left out the door.
"How are you feeling? You know, your head?" Sammie asked while pressing the button on the elevator.
"I'm fine. Justin slept with me to make sure." I entered the elevator.
"Anything else happen?" Sammie winked.
"No!" I stated.
"Hold the elevator!" Someone yelled. I placed my hand over the door so it wouldn't shut. Za ran in and pressed the buttons frantically.
"Whoa! Who are you running from?!" Sammie give Za some room.
"This girl from last night!" He panted.
"You're gonna slip up and get someone pregnant!" I chimed. He gave me a fierce glare, still trying to gain his breath.
"Keep messing with Justin and he's going to get you pregnant."
I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms.
"Where are y'all going anyway?"
"Getting something to eat." Sammie stepped out the elevator.
"I'm hungry toooo!" Za followed behind us. Sammie ran to the sidewalk and flagged down a cab.
"Can I come with y'all?"
"I don't know if Sammie wants you around." I chuckled.
"What does she have against me?"
"Za, you're a whore."
"What does that have to do with food?!" He furrowed his eyebrows. I shrugged.
"It's fine with me. Ask Sammie if you can come."
"Fuck her. I'm hungry!" He was about to get in our cab, but Sammie stopped him.
"No! No! Find your own cab!" She held her hand out.
"You heard me!" Sammie climbed inside.
I was right behind her. Za stood there looking sheepish. I reached out, grabbed his hand and pulled him into the cab.
"Sammie, you can really be a bitch." He snapped and wrapped his arms around my torso. "Ri is sweet. Be more like her!" He squeezed me.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" He repeatedly kissed my cheek.
"Stooop!" I squirmed under his hold.
"You better let go of Justin's girlfriend before he kicks your ass!" Sammie slapped his arms.
"Whaaaat?!" He released me.
"Yes." I shyly looked out the window.
"You and Justin are together?!" Za got in my face.
"This dumbass never listens!" Sammie mumbled.
"Shut up! You always gotta say some shit!"
"No, you shut up!"
"Make me! Do something!" He leaned over my body and towards Sammie.
Sammie grabbed his face and pushed it into the back of the driver's seat. He slapped her thigh. She slapped his hand.
"Get out of my cab! Now!" The driver raised his voice.
I looked to Sammie, then to Za.
"See what you did!"
"GET OUT!" The man rushed. Za opened his door and we exited the cab. We were at some plaza.
"This is your fault Za!" Sammie snapped.
"No, this is you-"
"WILL Y'ALL SHUT UP! Damn, I'm hungry and y'all are arguing like two-year-olds!" I stormed away, in search of food.
"Look, you pissed off Lil Rissa!" Za continued.
"Shut up, you whore." Sammie hissed.
