It's Sunday the 1st of January. A new day, a new year and a new start to life in Sydney Australia.
My name is Rebecca, I'm a pretty shy girl who just wants to experience the world. And that's exactly what I'm doing. Me and my friend, Holly, are taking a 2 month trip to Australia after saving up for 2 years. We're so excited. Holly has been my best friend since we were little, although we are the complete opposite. Holly's loud and outgoing, she likes rock music and don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of rock but a different kind. Anyways, we were all packed and ready to go. We hopped in to my mum's car and drove to HeathrowAirport.
It took 45 minutes to arrive at the airport and it was now 6:47pm. We were a little late due to traffic so I quickly said goodbye to my mum and we ran to catch the plane. Waiting to board, we were dreading the flight.
"How is it going to be possible for me to sit there for 24 hours next to a random stranger? I'm a socially awkward person.." I moaned to Holly. She just laughed and started walking onto the plane.
"I'll see you throughout the flight, enjoy whoever you're sitting next to!" Holly shouted. I shot her a glare.
Walking around for what felt like an hour, I finally found the area in which I was positioned to sit in. Now, to find my seat. However, all I could hear were boys shouting. Ugh, I thought to myself. I don't want to have to put up with yelling boys on a long, tiring flight.
I walked and walked and eventually found my seat to find a blonde haired boy sat there too.
"Looks like I've got the whole row to myself boys!" shouted the blonde haired kid to his mates.
"Not for long.." I said approaching him.
He pouted and moved for me to position my self in the row.
"So, what's your name?" he asked.
"Rebecca, what's yours?" I smiled.
"Ohh, hey. I'm Luke!" he replied enthusiastically.
I thought to myself, where do I recognise this boy from and then it hit me.
"Wait, aren't you Luke? Luke Hemmings from 5 Seconds Of Summer?"
"I am indeed, so you're a fan?"
"You could say that.." I smirked.
This is going to be an interesting flight...
Me and the boys are flying back to Sydney today. I am like a little child, I can’t wait. But I am dreading this long flight.
Me, Michael, Calum and Ashton were now on the way to the airport knowing we’re maybe going to have to stop for some fans so we left slightly early.
When we arrived, there were so many more fans than any of us expected. How our career has expanded over the past year or two has been mind blowing. Someone please explain to me how this happens to us 4 wacky boys from Sydney, I wasn’t complaining though.
After signing some things and having photos with fans, we headed towards to plane and surprisingly boarded pretty quickly.
Me and the boys were separated for the flight which I wasn’t completely happy about considering I’m going to have to sleep and talk to some randomers but there’s nothing I can do about that.
I found my seat and noticed that the plane was filling up. I thought to myself, wow.. I have this whole row to myself.
"Looks like I've got the whole row to myself boys!" I shouted to Michael Calum and Ashton trying to make them jealous noticing they were sat next to elderly people.
But suddenly, a girl quietly said “Not for long.."
She was gorgeous. Long dark hair with big blue poppy eyes. The curves of her body standing out perfectly. I didn’t know what to say, so I just pouted while she giggled back.
While she positioned herself next to me in the four seated row, I thought I’d make some small talk.
"So, what's your name?" I asked.
"Rebecca, what's yours?" she replied, smiling.
"Ohh, hey. I'm Luke!" I replied wanting to find out more about this girl.
"Wait, aren't you Luke? Luke Hemmings from 5 Seconds Of Summer?" she asked, eyes bulging open.
"I am indeed, so you're a fan?" I asked.
"You could say that.." she smirked.
Hmm, I like this girl.
