"Down to Earth
Keep 'em falling when I know it hurts
Going faster than a million miles an hour
Trying to catch my breath some way, somehow"

(Y/n) P.O.V

I ran out of the house and crossed the street. So I technically lied to my parents... I wasn't going to my friends house... I was going to the park.

I crossed another street and entered the area. Like usual, it was deserted. No one came here anymore. No one but me.

Oh and that other guy across the park... But I couldn't see their face. I walked over to the swing set and plopped down, creating a loud creaking sound.

"Down to Earth
It's like I'm frozen, but the world still turns
Stuck in motion, and the wheels keep spinning 'round
Moving in reverse with no way out"

I slowly swing back and forth until I heard someone else sit in the swing seat next to me.

"(Y/n)?" They asked surprised. I snapped my head towards them and gasped.

"Hiro!" I cheered.

"I thought you were in trouble." He stated confused.

" I lied to my parents..." I sighed. Hiro could only nod.

"And now I'm one step closer to being two steps far from you
When everybody wants you
Everybody wants you"

"So did you really mean what you said?" I asked, letting the words tumble out of my mouth.

"Well... Yeah I did... Did you mean it to?" He asked.

"Yeah... I did..." I stated shyly.

"How many nights does it take to count the stars?
That's the time it would take to fix my heart
Oh, baby, I was there for you
All I ever wanted was the truth, yeah, yeah
How many nights have you wished someone would stay?
Lie awake only hoping they're okay
I never counted all of mine
If I tried, I know it would feel like infinity
Infinity, infinity, yeah
Infinity"

Hiro scrunched up his eyes and groaned in frustration. "I don't care what your parents say... I love you a lot (y/n)... Please will you be my girlfriend?!" He said quickly.

My heart pounded faster and a smile pulled at my lips.

"Seriously?! Of course!" I screamed.

"Eyes can't shine
Unless there's something burning bright behind
Since you went away, there's nothing left in mine
I feel myself running out of time"

We both stayed quiet until we heard two voices clearing their throat. We looked up and jumped to our feet in fear, Hiro spreading his arms wide in front of me to protect me.

"I love her and there is nothing you will do to separate us!" He yelled at my father.

"And now I'm one step closer to being two steps far from you
When everybody wants you
Everybody wants you"

My parents exchanged looks of thought, meanwhile Hiro moved to stand beside me and held my hand tightly.

"We came for another reason." My mother stated.

"The suitors have been sent home... And will not return." My father explained.

Hiro and I exchanged confused looks.

"How many nights does it take to count the stars?
That's the time it would take to fix my heart
Oh, baby, I was there for you
All I ever wanted was the truth, yeah, yeah
How many nights have you wished someone would stay?
Lie awake only hoping they're okay
I never counted all of mine
If I tried, I know it would feel like infinity
Infinity, infinity, yeah
Infinity, infinity, infinity"

"Then who am I meant to commit myself to?" I asked.

"Well... The person you choose..." My mother smiled slightly, nodding to Hiro.

My gaze followed her's. I could choose Hiro?! She was serious?! As if to read my mind, she nodded.

"We realised its better if you find your own happiness." My father agreed. I ran and hugged them.

"Thank you... So so much." I whispered.

"How many nights does it take to count the stars?
That's the time it would take to fix my heart
Oh, baby, I was there for you
All I ever wanted was the truth, yeah, yeah
How many nights have you wished someone would stay?
Lie awake only hoping they're okay
I never counted all of mine
If I tried, I know it would feel like infinity
Infinity, infinity, yeah
Infinity"

I pulled away from the hug excitedly, jumping up and down until I jumped on top of Hiro, mashing my lips against his.

He returned the kiss with just as much energy and separated.

A few years later

I stared into Hiro's warm eyes as the music played in the background. "You may now kiss the bride."

That's all I needed to hear, we leaned in and kissed.
