"Oh god, his eyes" I spoke to myself.
The way he styled his hair was breathtaking. I could smell his cologne and I always got lured.
"Why is this man affecting me so much? He hates me." I tried to convince myself. But the way he'd hold his pencil between his lips made be feel strange. I was jealous of that pencil.
"Holy Jesus! I wish I was the pencil between his lips"
He was getting way to attractive for me to resist.
I couldn't pay attention in my class. I couldn't stop glaring at Rem.
"How could I reject his proposal?? I am such a dumb ass motherfucker"
I got angry over myself.
Mr. Grey, our history teacher, told us that we had to do some sort of project on history of earth. So he started pairing up the students. The only thing I was praying at the moment was for my name to be called after Rem's. This could be the chance for me to talk to him once again and be friends somehow.
"Ben and Dori are the pairs. And who are left now?? " Mr. Grey asked.
The only names left were me, Michelle and Remy.
"Oh fish! Please me and Rem. Please please." I prayed.
Mr. Grey began, "umm. Remy and Samantha are the last pair and Michelle you can join Ben and Dori."
"Hell yeah" I jumped with joy till I figured out the whole class staring at me like I had gone crazy in seconds. I pretended to curse myself for being paired with Rem so that no one would suspect. Its obvious that I looked stupid in every way possible at that time. But yeah, finally I got a chance go talk to Rem.
"Finally!" My heart fluttered.
Mr. Grey told that we would be going to visit the museum this Friday and we would be completing our project after that. I couldn't wait till Friday. I saw Rem smirking after he realised that he had to do the project with me.
"What was the smirk for?? Maybe he still wants me and he was happy?? But what if he didn't want to pair up with me?? "
My mind was going crazy all of a sudden.
After the history class was over, I rushed to Hays and explained everything that happened in history class. She got overexcited and screamed. I tried to shut her mouth as she was going insane in front of people.
"Holy shit, So you two are finally gonna make out?? " Hays was way too excited.
"No, not at all. I'm just gonna talk to him. Like a normal friend. Just a friend with friend zone. Got it?" I replied smiling from inside.
"Hahah! Thats way too much of lying all at once Sam! I know you Sam, you cannot resist my brother." Hays is crazy now.
"Okay shut up Hays!"
Maybe Hays was right. I could really make out with him. But I erased that feeling suddenly not wanting to ruin anything once more.
The other periods at school were boring without Hays or Rem. After the school was over me and Hays decided to watch a movie at Hays' place.
"Shit, I'll have to resist again"
Hays and Rem were one heck of those sibling goals. They shared stuffs with each other but I was never brought in between their conversations as far as I know.
I texted my mom that I'd be late as I was going to be with Hays.
She texted back to be back home before 7.
Hays drove me to her place. I noticed Rem was already home. His car was parked on the driveway. Hays lived just few block away from mine. Hays' parents knew my parents since we shifted to Berkeley.
After I entered the house, i noticed Rem laying on the couch watching The Simpsons on his tv. Hays threw a pillow in his face distracting him from his Tv show.
"Get away, Hailer " Rem got furious all of a sudden.
I heard his voice after a very long time and it felt so good. Though he pretended not to see me there which was painful somehow.
"We're gonna watch a movie. Wanna join us Rem??" Hays asked.
I poked Hays trying to stop her from inviting Rem but she ignored.
Rem replied, "Which movie??"
" The Longest Ride! Are you seriously gonna join us bro?" Hays was surprised and so was I.
"Was he gonna say yes?" My heart started beating faster.
"Yes, i would love to." Rem said.
"What the hell?? Did Rem say he was gonna join us?? Did he?? Oh my gosh" I started blushing.
"Come up dude." Hays ordered.
He followed us till Hays' room.
