The Seven Deadly Simpson Brothers

Chapter 36 ~ Gut feelings

I was behind in my studies.

The truth shocked me really, I had never before allowed myself to falter from an A grade, let alone achieve a low B, and in other cases a C.

It was because it used to be just Hayley and I, and homework and I. Now I had seven more guys that I cared about. The Simpsons were distracting, funny, and sometimes needed me to stop them doing stupid things.

And that was why my grades were going down.

It wasn't just me, it was Walter and Eli too. The only difference was that they didn't give a shit...and they never achieved so high in the first place.

The triplets weren't going to anymore, but I would encourage them to keep up their studies anyway.

And I hadn't forgotten the threat Phoenix had given me yesterday. I had been avoiding him the whole morning after waking up unnaturally early. Even though I didn't want Walter to fight, I was going to let him go, Phoenix scared the daylights out of me and I could tell that was what Walter wanted himself.

After showering and getting dressed, I went to knock on Walter's door.

"Hey," I said softly when I walked in.

Walter sat up in his bed, bleary eyed. "Why are you ready so early?"

I shrugged, "Woke up quite early today."

"Oh," he rubbed his eyes.

"Can I ask of something from you?" I asked him, sitting on the end of his bed.

"Yes, what babe?"

"At school, can you try harder. You know get your grades up?" I said gently.

"Why?" Walter looked puzzled.

"Because it will do you good, just please Walter?"

He sighed then nodded and I grinned because that proved he was going to try.

"Thank you," I went over the peck him on the lips.

He snaked his hand round to hold the back of my neck, deepening the kiss.

I broke away for air first, and Walter got out of his bed.

"I'll leave you to get ready," I smiled.

Knocking on the triplets door next, I was surprised when I got an answer. I had been expecting them to be still asleep.

Walking in I saw that Severn still was asleep, but Giovanni and Gomez were awake. Giovanni on his phone turned away from everyone, and Gomez also in his bed staring at the ceiling.

"So how's it like not having school?" I asked them casually.

"Awesome," Gomez replied, sitting up.

"Nice onesie," I grinned. "Pink really suits you!"

He rolled his eyes playfully, "Landon thought it would make a good joke."

"I agree with him," I said.
